Review of HITAM College, which makes HITAM stand out from the crowd.
Placements: HITAM is one of the best colleges when it comes to placements, and highest salary package is 24 LPA from the Goldman Sachs company. Recently, 2025 passed out students are selected in one of the major companies, Cognizant, and are doing their internships from different locations in India.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and new construction is underway to provide as many new opportunities as possible to the upcoming batches. And whole greenery is accumulated on the campus, and you can enjoy good food in the HITAM canteen. An open library and a separate incubation center are there, and IEEE student chapters where students do their individual and group projects.
Faculty: Curriculum of HITAM college is quite different from other colleges. HITAM provides opportunities to participate, engage, and do their own specifications from their 1st year itself. HITAM had Google developed, Toastmasters, hackathon, and numerous student chapters, which help students to learn and gain knowledge in their field of engineering.

I am dissatisfied with the college rules and the attendance policy.
Placements: About 70% to 80% of students get placed through campus drives in my course. The highest package is around 24 LPA, and the lowest is around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Cognizant, Accenture, HCLTech, and others. Around 60% to 70% of students secure internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities, such as labs with internet connections and digitalized classrooms, are available. The library is fully stocked with books. The food available in the college canteen is acceptable, and the prices are not too high. In case of medical emergencies, students can consult the dispensary for treatment.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are knowledgeable and support students in research and building projects. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant in making students industry-ready. The semester exams are not too tough. We can pass by studying a day before the exam.

College is worth it, green campus, and in few years the campus is going to be a huge university.
Placements: 70-80% of students got placed in top companies. The highest package is 24 LPA. The least package is 2.5 LPA. Top companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Byjus, and many more came to the recruitment drive. Very few people got all internships, and most of them are placed directly.
Infrastructure: Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management (HITAM) is mainly known for its green campus. We have different variety of trees on campus. Labs have the latest version of labs and technology that are used. Every digital classroom has its own Wi-Fi. We have a large space for studying.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have received Ph.D. in different streams. Faculty members have in-depth knowledge about the subject that they are teaching us. They bring all the digital notes for easy understanding. The exams are conducted strictly, they won't allow any proxy or malpractice during the exams.
Other: I chose CSE because when I was researching the best college. I found HITAM which has decent background for students, where we can enjoy the whole campus.

Sports are encouraged by the faculty members and the tournament is conducted.

Satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: Only a few of the students have been placed in 2023, and it has increased somewhat in 2024. I think this year they will increase companies like Tech Mahindra, Google. More students got internships in different companies like Flipkart, Google, Microsoft.
Infrastructure: They provide Wi-Fi in each class, and it is like an interconnected course, so labs will be conducted in classrooms itself with our personal laptops. We can sit in the library if we feel disturbed. I am not from the college hostel, but the hostel is very small. For hostellers, they will provide nice food, a gym, and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are more helpful for students and they will talk to each and every student, whether the subject is understandable or not. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready. Yes, it is very difficult, but if we study, the exams will be easy or moderate. In our college, there is a good percentage of passing.
Other: My course is CS Data Science, and I love doing it. The best things are that we can become data analysts and also do many things related to Data Science. I want to improve my programming skills in the upcoming days. There will be more technical fests in our college, which helps to gain knowledge by doing tasks and projects. Cultural fests will also be good, not as much as technical fests. The campus will be pleasant with more greenery.
