IBS Hyderabad admission is a multi-step process. Check below the step-wise admission process: Check below the steps to get a seat in IBS Hyderabad:
Application: The mode of application is both online and offline. Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 750 for BBA and INR 1,800 for MBA course.
Selection rounds: IBS conducts IBSAT for admission to MBA courses. The institute also accepts CAT, XAT, etc. for MBA admission. Selected aspirants are further called for a Micro Presentation and PI round. For BBA, admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam followed by a personal interview round.
Admission Confirmation: After completion of the selection rounds, candidates will recieve a provisional letter. Candidates need to pay the IBS Hyderabad fee to confirm their seat in the institute.
The modes of ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on merit, entrance exam scores, and interview rounds. At the undergraduate level, the ICFAI Business School Hyderabad offers three-year BBA or a four-year BBA (Hons) to students. At the postgraduate level, the ICFAI Business School Hyderabad offers two-year MBA programme. IBS Hyderabad also offers full-time PhD courses to students.
The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (The IFHE), Hyderabad — a Deemed University conducts IBSAT for admission to MBA programme. IBSAT is an online aptitude test taken from home. The test assesses the candidate's skills in Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Data Adequacy, Vocabulary, Analytical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension.

IBS Hyderabad BA Admission Dates 2023
In addition to BBA, IBS Hyderabad offers a three-year BA in Economics course spread over two semesters (every year). IBS admission to BA is subject to merit in Class 12 followed by an interview. This programme consists of 34 courses (of which 30 are compulsory, 4 are elective. Additionally, there are two summer internship programmes, one at the end of the first year and second at the end of the second year to provide corporate exposure to the students. The minimum eligibility criteria for this course along with other admission details are mentioned below:
Eligibility:
- A pass in Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% and above (in any stream) with English as a medium of instruction
- Must fulfil the minimum age requirements as prescribed by the respective board via which the student has appeared for the qualifying exam
- If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date, admission into the programme will be cancelled
- Applicants who have appeared for Class 12 or equivalent are also eligible to apply provided they are done with their exams (including practical exams)
Shortlisted students are given the selection letters on the date of the interview and are sanctioned provisional admission. This will be subject to payment of the admission fee.

Selection for BA is completely merit-based. Eligible students must apply using the application form. Final selection is based on a personal interview conducted by the institute.

IBS Hyderabad cutoff 2025 was released for enrollment to the MBA course based on the students' performance in the CAT entrance examination. For the General AI category, the lowest percentile needed for admission was 85 based on the estimated cutoff data for this category.
Note: The institute doesn't release the CAT cutoff to the public, and it is instead only available to those with login credentials. Hence, the data mentioned is an estimate and not official.
IBS Hyderabad CAT Cutoff 2024 will be released after the CAT results are out. The institute accepts CAT reuslts for MBA admissions. In 2023, the CAT percentile Cutoff to get PGDM admission was 85. In 2022 and 2021, the CAT percentile cutoff was also 85.
Looking at the previous year cutoff, the estimated CAT cutoff for MBA admission is 85-87.
IBS Hyderabad admissions are open. Currently, the applications are open for MBA programme. Candidates can apply online on the official website of the university. The application fee for MBA programme is INR 1,800. Besides, aspirants can also apply offline for admission at IBS Hyderabad. Admission to courses is both merit and entrance-based.
Aspirants who are selected based on their scores in entrance test also need to pass Micro Presentation and PI round for MBA. IBS Hyderabad panel conducts interview for five to seven minutes. - Download of application form: Those willing to download the filled-in form and submit the hard copy can also do so by downloading the form from the same source as mentioned above and send it to the ‘Admission Office’ along with a demand draft of INR 500 in favour of ‘IFHE-Fee Collection A/c-BA” payable at Hyderabad.

IBS Hyderabad provides merit scholarships to the students pursuing BA. These scholarships are provided based on the past academic record of students in Class 12 followed by semester-wise performance during the course.
- Merit scholarships based on past academic record:
Students of BA in Economics at IBS Hyderabad are awarded merit scholarships based on aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent. These scholarships will continue after the first semester only if the students maintain a minimum 6.0 GPA in the previous semester. The details are as presented in the following table.
