The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition Delhi admit candidates to BSc and MSc programme based on NCHMCT JEE score. The institute does not conduct any in-house entrance exam for the current courses. Selection list is created for BSc based on the applicants NCHMCT JEE score and for MSc based on NCHM MSc JEE exam score. For these entrance exams, aspirants can apply through the NCHM official website.

In the IHM Delhi BSc HHA course curriculum, a component of IGNOU is also added. It is because the course is offered jointly by IHM Delhi and IGNOU. The open university adds a foundation course in Tourism to the curriculum. There are 10-12 counselling sessions that are conducted every year for this course of two hours each for every group. 

The Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Pusa accepts NCHMCT JEE scores, follwed by a counselling process for admission to the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme. As per the NCHMCT JEE Round 4 Seat Allotment Result, the closing rank for BSc course was 382 for the students belonging to the General AI category. The Round 1 closing rank for the same course was 284. IHM Pusa is an autonomous institute established in 1962 under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. IHM Pusa offers five diploma, UG, and PG programmes in Hospitality and related disciplines. Pusa Hotel Management is affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida.

IHM Delhi offer Master of Science (MSc) course in Hospitality Administration. This master's course is a blend of intensive classroom contact, counselling sessions, self-learning, and industry mentorship. The two-year PG course is divided into four semesters. The duration of UG diploma courses at IHM Pusa is one-year each along with 24 weeks of industrial training. The mode of education for these programmes is full-time.
