NCHM MSc JEE 2025: Second Merit List (Out), Cut Offs, Admission Process

NCHM MSc Joint Entrance Exam or MSc JEE is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) jointly with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The exam is conducted at the national level across 19 cities in India. NCHM MSc JEE is conducted in either OMR or Computer-Based Test mode. The question paper of NCHM MSc JEE is based on core subjects of Hospitality Administration at graduation level, Communication Skills in English, and Numeric Aptitude / IQ. There are around 100 objective-type questions of one mark each. Candidates who qualify NCHM MSc JEE are offered admissions to MSc courses offered at 16 IHMs.

The admission process through NCHM MSc JEE 2025 is as under: 

Step 1: Registration - Candidates have to register online at the official website - nchm.nic.in/ on or before the last date. They have to register, fill out the application form with all required details, and pay the application fee online only. Those who are applying for direct admission have to send their application form along with relevant documents on the official address - NCHMCT, A-34, Sector 62, Noida 201309 before the specified date. 

Step 2: Admit card download - Candidates who are appearing for NCHM MSc JEE 2025 will be issued admit card to appear for the entrance exam at the designated test centres. Candidates will be able to download from the official website by entering application number and password. They have to get it printed out to carry it on the exam day.  

Step 3: Appear for entrance exam - Candidates have to take the entrance exam at their allotted test centre. They need to carry their admit card and a photo ID proof to enter the examination hall. The exam will be held in a OMR based test mode or CBT mode, which will be confirmed by the exam authority. 

Step 4: Results and merit list - The exam authority will publish the results of MSc JEE 2025 on the official website. Along with the results, a merit list of category-wise qualified candidates will also be published on the website. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard from the website by entering their roll number and password. 

Step 5: Counselling - The qualified candidates have to register for NCHM MSc JEE 2025 Counselling process in online mode. They have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 2,000 to register for the counselling and seat allotment process. 

The NTA has released the NCHMCT MSc Counselling Schedule. The NCHM MSc JEE HA First Merit List 2025 was released on June 12, 2025. Candidates who have registered for NCHMCT MSc JEE 2025 counselling before the deadline can appear for the counselling rounds. The registration for NCHM JEE Counselling could be done by visiting the official website; i.e.nchmcounselling.nic.in.

The NCHMCT JEE seat allotment will be completed in two rounds. The online NCHMT MSc JEE 2025 counselling process will include registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, payment and uploading of documents to confirm the seat.

NCHMCT MSc JEE Counselling 2025: Reservation Criteria

Reservation policy in general followed by NCHMCT for admission into its affiliated Institutes is as given below:

• 15% for Scheduled Caste (SC) Category.
• 7½% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category.
• 27% for OBC (Central List) (Non-creamy layer) Category as per the Central List
• 10% for General EWS Category
• 5% seats shall be reserved for Physically Disabled across board as per rules.

Note: Other reservations, if any, as per Govt. of India directives.

The National Testing Agency has announced the NCHMCT MSc JEE Result in online mode. Candidates can check and download their NCHMCT JEE scorecard 2025 by visiting the official website. Candidates must note that NCHMCT MSc JEE 2025 Scorecard will carry details like marks, ranks, and qualifying status.

NTA will send the scorecards of NCHMCT MSc JEE 2025 to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for conducting counselling and seat allotment process of the qualified candidates. Candidates can check NCHMCT MSc JEE 2025 results by using their application number and date of birth. 

Candidates seeking admission through NCHM MSc JEE 2025 must fulfill the eligibility criteria as under: 

• Candidates should have obtained a BSc degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT or IGNOU
• They should have obtained at least 55 per cent marks in their qualifying degree
• Those who have obtained a bachelor degree in Hotel Management from a recognized University or an Institute as approved by AICTE are also eligible to apply 
• Those who were appearing in the final year examinations of the qualifying degree were also eligible, however, they should provide supporting marksheet and documents for qualifying the exam before October 31, 2024. 
• There was no age limit for appearing in NCHM MSc JEE 2025

Exemption from NCHM MSc JEE 2025:

Candidates who have the following qualifications are exempted from appearing in NCHM MSc JEE 2025, and they can participate in the counselling process for direct admission: 

• Those who have completed their Bachelor degree in Hotel Management from a recognized University or an Institute approved by AICTE with at least 55% marks.
• They should have at least two years of work experience in a 3 star or above rated hotel or resort are eligible for direct admissions to MSc in Hospitality Administration through NCHM MSc JEE 2025 counselling.
