NCHM MSc JEE 2025: Second Merit List (Out), Cut Offs, Admission Process

NCHM MSc Joint Entrance Exam or MSc JEE is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) jointly with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The exam is conducted at the national level across 19 cities in India. NCHM MSc JEE is conducted in either OMR or Computer-Based Test mode. The question paper of NCHM MSc JEE is based on core subjects of Hospitality Administration at graduation level, Communication Skills in English, and Numeric Aptitude / IQ. There are around 100 objective-type questions of one mark each. Candidates who qualify NCHM MSc JEE are offered admissions to MSc courses offered at 16 IHMs.

Admission process for NCHM MSc JEE 2026 goes in a few steps that you follow one after another, but it’s not too hard.

• First, you complete the registration process by visiting website and filling out the form with the requested details. Then you pay fee online. Some students who take direct admission need to send their form with documents to NCHMCT office before the last date.
• After that, you download NCHM MSc JEE 2026 admit card using your application number and password..
• Then you go for entrance exam at test centre, taking admit card and any photo ID, and exam can be OMR or even CBT, depends what authority choose that year.
• Next thing is MSc JEE 2026 result, which gets posted on NCHM site, and they also put a merit list for each category there. You can get your scorecard by typing your roll number and password.
• At the end, qualified candidates have to register online for NCHM MSc JEE 2026 counselling. There’s a non-refundable fee of INR 2,000 for joining counselling and seat allotment, so you just pay that and follow steps they show you.   

NTA will released NCHMCT MSc Counselling Schedule after the results are declared. Candidates need to register for NCHMCT MSc JEE 2026 counselling before the deadline to appear for the admission rounds. The registration for NCHM JEE Counselling could be done by visiting the website; i.e.nchmcounselling.nic.in.

NCHMCT JEE seat allotment will be completed in two rounds. Online NCHMT MSc JEE 2026 counselling process includes registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, payment and uploading of documents to confirm the seat.

NCHMCT MSc JEE Counselling 2026: Reservation Criteria

The National Testing Agency will announced NCHMCT MSc JEE Result in online mode. Candidates can check and download their NCHMCT JEE scorecard 2026 by visiting the website. Candidates must note that NCHMCT MSc JEE 2026 scorecard will carry details: marks, ranks, and qualifying status.

NTA will send the scorecards of NCHMCT MSc JEE 2026 to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for conducting counselling and seat allotment process of the qualified candidates. Candidates can check NCHMCT MSc JEE 2026 results by using their application number and date of birth. 

Candidates seeking admission through NCHM MSc JEE 2026 must fulfill the eligibility criteria as under: 

• Candidates should have obtained a BSc degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT or IGNOU
• They should have obtained at least 55 per cent marks in their qualifying degree
• Those who have obtained a bachelor degree in Hotel Management from a recognized University or an Institute as approved by AICTE are also eligible to apply 
• Those who were appearing in the final year examinations of the qualifying degree were also eligible, however, they should provide supporting marksheet and documents for qualifying the exam before October 31, 2024. 
• There was no age limit for appearing in NCHM MSc JEE 2026

Exemption from NCHM MSc JEE 2026:

Some candidates don’t have to sit for the exam at all, and they can go straight for counselling for direct admission.

If you completed your Bachelor’s in Hotel Management from a recognised University or an AICTE-approved Institute with at least 55% marks, then you fit the criteria. Also, you need to have two years of work experience in a 3-star or above hotel or resort, and then you’re eligible for direct admission to MSc in Hospitality Administration through NCHM MSc JEE 2026 counselling process.
