• PhD (with Institute/External Fellowship) Jul 2024 Shortlisted Candidates for the exam will be announced tentatively on May 16, 2024 and the Written Exam (IIITA-PET) will be held tentatively on May 29, 2024.

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad offers PhD (three-year) courses in regular mode and for working professionals as well. The full-time programmes are offered with institute and external fellowships. Admission is provided on the basis of marks in a written examination followed by an interview. The written test is conducted for admission to PhD (with institute fellowship) Candidates with BTech/MTech/BPharm/MPharm/MBA/ degree backgrounds can apply with CAT/GMAT/GATE/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET or JRF scores.
