Good for placements, but a hectic curriculum.
Placements: Placements are good, about 95 percent of students got placed. The average package is around 20 LPA. So don't join if you just want placements but prepare well to be with the hectic culture. For M.Tech students, it's a little bit competitive with the B.Tech Students. But all the IT students are given equal opportunity.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but less priority is given to sports and games. The campus is big but not as good as IITs and NITs. The playground is okay not too big and not too small. Cultural activities are not very often and are given very little priority and it rarely happens.
Faculty: Some faculty are good at concepts and explanations but some are not good at explanations, even though they are good at concepts. They are well-experienced in teaching and guiding students from scratch but it mostly depends on how the student understands the lessons.
Other: Just be ready to take studies as a challenge if you want to join here, don't just join for placements.

Not satisfied with the teaching faculty, the best placement in 2025, with good infrastructure.
Placements: As far as I know, in the previous year, 96% of students were placed in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and many more, which led to an average package of 33 LPA, median 18 LPA and the highest package to 120 LPA (I don't know about the lowest). In terms of the percentage of students placed, (422/431), i.e., 96%, something with more than 150+ companies visited.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are far better than those of many colleges. On campus, you will get a basketball court, squash court, common ground for cricket and football and a student activity centre which has a table tennis table, 8-ball court, carrom, chess with health center and an ambulance facility. In the hostel, we have 4 charging points and 1 ethernet point, which is efficient.
Faculty: Teaching faculty, as I believe, is not as good as IIT's, but they are far more knowledgeable and have a great teaching quality, which is helpful. Curriculum is well balanced and divided into 8 semesters with 2 major exams and 2 minor quiz and all of them have a passing percentage.

Good for your career, questionable for your college memories.
Placements: The current 4th-year batch, particularly talking about the ITBI branch, had quite good placements, with a rough figure of approximately 90% of students in the branch being placed, with the average and median being somewhere around 25 CTC. Tier 1 companies visit the campus, namely Google, Microsoft, etc. The internship drive for our seniors was surprising; in a batch size of about 450 students, approximately 190 students now hold a summer internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided for studying is satisfactory and just about what you would expect. Wi-Fi is fast. The library is small but does the job. Whereas the infrastructure of the hostel, on the other hand, is where this takes a dip. For the first-year boys, they would get the newly built Boys Hostel 5, which is the epitome of quality life in the hostel. You would get here and that too is just satisfactory enoug nothing special. From the second year onwards, the quality of food in the mess, hostel maintenance, and cleanliness all of these deteriorate.
Faculty: Teachers surely are qualified, but I personally believe that if I could control anything in the college, I would seriously change the faculty members for most of the courses. I can only name two professors to date in whose lectures the students would start to sit from the first bench just because the subject was interesting and, even more important, they taught with utmost detail, which I personally liked. The rest, I felt, most professors don't even care that much about teaching; instead, they are busy with their own research papers.
Other: Events and fests are slowly being scaled off by the faculty here, at least that is what I believe. Talking about the crowd to expect, I would say it is quite diverse you would see people from all around the country and even all around the world here. I wish there were more cultural activities happening in the college. Currently, it seems my whole life is just grinding for placements or internships with some break in between getting happy for a day or two if you happen to get one. Otherwise, contemplate what you did wrong.

Placement-oriented college, don't expect anything else.
Placements: Placements this year in our batch were above 90%, with the highest being 1.4 CPA and the lowest being 8 LPA. Don't expect top packages unless you are really intelligent and/or lucky. The average is around 25 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Intuit, Walmart, Quadeye, NK Securities, UnifyApps, Media. Net, etc., recruit. Some even came for sales positions. Almost 80% got internships in the IT branch, companies such as Google, Microsoft, UnifyApps, Walmart, LinkedIn, etc., came for it. The highest paying roles were for Quant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average at best. Wi-Fi works, but the proxy is very problematic. Classrooms are good, but not well-maintained. There are not many options for food inside the campus, with the canteens being very hygienic. We have a medical store that gives reimbursement on request. Sports facilities are decent with a big ground for football, cricket, volleyball, tennis court, squash room, outdoor badminton court and indoor games SAC building.
Faculty: Most teachers are well qualified, but few of them know how to teach, as is the case with most colleges. The course curriculum is relevant and may be better than most colleges, but it is quite rigorous. Semester exams are quite difficult, and you need to study for at least a week before the exams. The pass percentage depends on the course's difficulty. Generally, people except for 2-3 pass almost every course.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in it for a very long time. Best thing about my course is placement assurance and relevant courses of my interest. I think the course should have had fewer subjects and less syllabus, currently, it is too paced. 1-2 major events happen per year. Effervescense is the annual cultural fest, Aparoksha is the tech fest, and Asmita is the sports fest, mostly, they get cancelled or postponed to next year. The crowd is average, some really talented people are there. Campus is located in a rural surrounding, so don't expect many things to explore here.

The college is very good if you are interested in coding.
Placements: Placement is very good this year. About 98–100 percent placement rate. In our college, almost all big companies come such as Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Here, the average package is almost true as shown by Google, about 33 LPA. There is very little chance to get a job in core electronics..
Infrastructure: Every facility is good, but we have to compromise a little bit with the mess facilities. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA) is one of India’s premier institutes focused on information technology and allied fields, known for its strong academic culture, modern infrastructure, and competitive environment.
Faculty: Examinations are conducted properly and faculty are also good. 75% attendance is compulsory. But here college life is hectic enough. I think they will improve the facilities, as the mess food is very tasteless. Food contains many items but has zero taste.
Other: Events and fests are properly enhanced. But very few scholarship schemes are provided by this college.

The college is quite good, and it makes us learn something.
Placements: Almost ninety percent of our college students got placements. Placements are quite good here. The average package offered is 30 LPA, and the highest package offered is 1.25 crore per annum. There are two types of internships, one is for two months, and the other is for six months. The two-month internship is tough to grab, while the six-month internship is not as tough to grab. The top role offered is a software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. The library is a very good place to study. The Wi-Fi connection at the library is quite good. The hostel conditions are also good. Wi-Fi speed in the room depends on the room location. The food in the mess is just average, and in the canteen also. The facilities for sports are quite good. There is a swimming pool and a student activity center, also.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and knowledgeable. Some teachers are very good at teaching, while others are also not very good, as it depends on each person. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us learn something. Semester exams are not very hard if we study, but compared to normal college, they are a bit harder.
