The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech course at IIIT Allahabad is that the candidate must have a BTech/ MSc in an allied discipline from a recognised university/ institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent. The course is available in four main specialisations. The M.Tech specialisations are Information Technology, Data Science and Analytics, Bioinformatics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. No, there is no other way to get admission to BTech without qualifying for JEE Main. Candidates are required to visit the official website of NTA to apply for JEE Man entrance exam. To be eligible for an undergraduate (UG) course at IIIT Allahabad, candidates need to qualify in the JEE Main exam and participate in the JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
