IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

Honest ITTV review as a first-year student.
Placements: I believe it is around 60% placements. But the highest package is of 1 crore per annum, which is off-campus. With increasing competition, you need to maintain good grades so that they allow you can sit in placement. Most companies demand a high CGPA for an interview. So grind hard.
Infrastructure: As a temporary campus, facilities are not quite up to the mark, especially in sports. The distance between college and hostel is quite big, so you can't really enjoy the college campus and bus system. Sometimes you need to wait 30-40 minutes until the bus gets filled.
Faculty: I only have mid-term, but seniors told me that you need to study hard for good grades, as it is a more education-focused college. Our teachers also tell us to focus only on studying and not to waste time on stupidity. The curriculum of every college is very bad.
Other: Lack of college events due to no permanent campus.

It will be partially shifted to the new campus around April 2026.
Placements: MCA is a new course in this college, so the placement record is not available, but in the 2025 B.Tech course, it has a 50% placement rate with 168 on campus placements. Top recruiters are Amazon, Capgemini, Adobe, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Samsung, Deloitte, and Mathswork.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is very good, but as we know, this college does not have a permanent campus, so a hostel is not available, but it is available through third party vendors, which are around 10 to 20 km from the college. Transport facilities, such as buses, are available from the hostel vendors.
Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members are there for your guidance and mentorship. All the professors are from IITs or reputable institutions, and they all have a great research background. All the professors are very supportive as we are the first batch of the MCA course.
Other: The main problem is that this college does not have its own campus. Various activities related to art, music, coding, etc. Organised by the clubs and societies, etc. Campus is hardly 2 km away from Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station.

IIITV, is a temple of esteemed faculty members, well-placed alumni, and hard-working students.
Placements: The placements over here are excellent, with an upward slope graph increasing every year. More than 85%-90% of the students get placed every year. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA- 5 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA. The top-level companies approach here for placements every year. This campus is equipped with a proper training and placements officer. The students over here work as senior software developers and AI/ML enthusiasts. Every year, 100% of students got an internship after completing the pre-final year.
Infrastructure: The college is currently pursuing its work temporarily in Gandhinagar because the permanent campus of IIITV is yet to be built completely. The college currently has its hostel facilities 10kms away from the academic building from where the students are transported using buses. The academic building and the hostel are properly equipped with excellent Wi-Fi facilities, good canteen, proper medical, and sports facilities. The students over here live in apartments arranged by the administration. The food quality is good and well taste.
Faculty: The examinations conducted over here are quite tough and very well planned and executed with proper building of questions and mixing of concepts. The teachers here are highly researched Ph.D. professors who are well-educated from top colleges such as IITs, NITs, BITS, etc. They are properly qualified and full of knowledge. The course curriculum contains everything that makes a student industry-ready, it also contains subjects for personality development and interview preparations. The students and the teachers have a very good coordination between them, the teachers are supportive and encouraging.

It is a place of academic and non-academic enjoyment with excellent campus life.
Placements: Placements of this institute are currently doing good. More than 60% of students get placed and are working well in their companies. All the leftover students are currently pursuing internships in good startups and companies. The average package is 9 LPA. Most of the students work as software developers and senior AI engineers.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-furnished and fully air-conditioned. The entire campus is connected with Wi-Fi. The library facility is also great. Hostels are not less than any 3-star hotel. The campus is so beautiful that a person gets to delve into it. I would rate 5 out of 5 for the food. It has one of the best food services someone can have in a mess. However, the college lacks proper medical facilities. It has a weekly visiting qualified doctor. The institute has newly built sports areas, for different sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, carrom, chess, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well-educated and qualified from top colleges all over India. They are properly knowledgeable about their subjects and courses with a helpful attitude. They provide us with excellent teaching from their own prepared slides and PPTs. The course curriculum contains only relevant subjects. There are mostly subjects that make students industry-ready. There are also extracurricular workshops and events that fully grow students. Semester exams are of medium to hard difficult levels. More than 94% of students pass with good grades. Overall, the faculty members and course curriculum are very relevant to the industry.
Other: The campus life over here is the best. There are weekly events, workshops, and annual technical, cultural, and sports fests with all the organisation and execution parts completely managed by the student body. The campus is not crowded because only one branch is present but from the year 2025, 3 new branches have been added so there will be a good campus crowd. The city is located at a very remote location with only bus and flight connectivity. There are mostly issues of transportation. There are state scholarships and weekly talent hunts. The campus is surrounded by beautiful beaches.

It has really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The highest package in my college is 40 LPA. The average package is 13 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, etc., visit the college for placements. 25% of students got internships from my course in Google. Top roles are not offered in my course.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi need to be improved. Labs facilities are average but library facilities should be improved. Classrooms are average. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical facilities are also good. Sports and games facilities are very bad.
Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. To some extent, the course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are difficult and the pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I chose this course to build the future. The best thing about my course is it is difficult to study and we need to do consistently hard work to understand this course deeply.

Really very beautiful campus.
Placements: About 30% of students from our 2025 batch are placed on campus. The highest package is about 40 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Nvidia, PwC, Amazon, Wipro, and Accenture. Around 50% of students got internships. Hopefully it will increase in the upcoming year.
Infrastructure: We have separate labs for electronics and computers and have all sports equipment and a beautiful ground with an athletics track around it. Our hostel rooms are some of the most beautiful rooms. They have everything: a bed, a study table, a spring mattress, and a cupboard, which are beautifully designed. We have Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus and the campus is well connected with Diu City because of the city bus. Our hostel warden has also allotted a vehicle to the students for any emergency situation. Every day, a doctor is available on the campus for the good health of the students. The campus is under CCTV surveillance 24/7.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well educated and supportive. It seems that they love what they do. The course curriculum is one of the best and makes a student very confident in every field. The semester exam seems to be of moderate level because of the good teaching abilities of the professors. The pass percentage is about 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it has a boost all over the world and many job opportunities are unlocked for this. There are many events happening in an academic year, like sports fests, cultural fests, and tech fests. All these events help to make a good relationship between seniors and juniors. In the sports event there are many different sports, but the best are cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. Because in these sports, auctions are held to make a team, so the seniors and juniors all have a mixed team, and because of that, we enjoy a lot. Open mic is held alternate weekend.
