IIIT Vadodara MTech is a full-time programme offered in two specialisations. These specialisations are Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) and Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence). The duration of the PG-level programme is two years and it follows a semester-based pattern.
IIIT Vadodara MTech admission is provided based on the GATE score of applicants. The seats are allocated through CCMT counselling. To be eligible for admission, applicants must have secured at least 60% marks in their Bachelor's degree (B.E/BTech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology and allied disciplines).

The NIMCET cutoff 2025 for all categories was different. In the case of the General AI quota, the first and the last round cutoff were, 934 and 1084, respectively. Refer to the table below to know about other categories.
