Hi Ananthu,
There are 4 sections in CAT exam i.e. quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, logical & analytical reasoning and data interpretation. It is always advisable to join a coaching that prepares students to crack CAT exam with high percentile and they also gives you study materials and take exams for better preparation of yours. As you are a 2nd year engineering student and I guess that it is the best time for you to start your preparation in order to score higher percentile in exam. Good luck!

IIM-A is always best in every way.
but if you technical guy and science lover than don't go for MBA.
if you want to build your career in management line than and only than go for IIM-A.
Otherwise you can pursue MTech from IIT.
but if you chose MBA

Hi,
For getting admission in IIMs you must attend CAT exam & should secure more than 90 percentile for the same.
As you have got 69.56% in MAT there are other good institutions who accept it.
For Christ University Bangalore Minimum cut off for MA

This might not affect while placements because that time they'll put more emphasize on your post-graduation marks. But yes, this might affect your admission for MBA. You can still get into IIM's if you score decent percentile and do well in GDPI. Your graduation marks might be a bit problem but yes not all the IIM's give as such importance to graduation marks. Try to score above 99 percentiles in CAT and do very well in your GDPI for getting into IIM's.
