There is no definitive answer to this question, as different MBA programs may have different advantages and disadvantages depending on your preferences, goals, and expectations. However, I can provide some general comparisons between Fitchburg State University (FSU) and IIM Ahmedabad (IIMA) for doing MBA:Ranking: IIMA is ranked higher than FSU in most of the international and national rankings for MBA programs. For example, according to QS World University Global MBA Rankings 2024, IIMA is ranked 53rd, while FSU is not ranked in the top 250. According to Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2023, IIMA is ranked 51st, while FSU is not ranked in the top 100. According to NIRF 2023, IIMA is ranked 1st among the government B-schools in India, while FSU is not ranked in the top 100 .Admission: IIMA has a more selective and competitive admission process than FSU for MBA programs. IIMA requires applicants to have a valid score in CAT, GMAT, or GRE, as well as a minimum of two years of work experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a high academic performance. FSU does not require standardized test scores or work experience for admission to its MBA program, but only a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, a minimum GPA of 3.0, and some supporting documents.Cost: FSU has a lower tuition fee than IIMA for MBA programs, but the cost of living may vary depending on the location and lifestyle. According to the web search results, the tuition fee for the MBA programme at FSU is $12,510 per year for in-state students and $18,390 per year for out-of-state students. The tuition fee for the MBA programme at IIMA is $28,000 per year for Indian students and $40,000 per year for international students. However, both FSU and IIMA offer various scholarships and financial aid options for eligible students.Curriculum: FSU and IIMA have different curricula and specializations for their MBA programs. FSU offers an MBA programme with a management concentration, which covers topics such as accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, and strategic management. IIMA offers a two-year post graduate programme in management (PGP), which covers topics such as economics, operations, communication, ethics, and entrepreneurship, as well as a one-year post graduate programme in management for executives (PGPX), which covers topics such as leadership, innovation, globalization, and public policy. Both FSU and IIMA also offer elective courses and experiential learning opportunities for their MBA students. Therefore, whether FSU or IIMA is a better option for doing MBA depends on your personal and professional criteria. You may want to do more research and compare the specific features and outcomes of each MBA programme before making a decision.

Students are admitted to the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) through a competitive process that takes into account a variety of factors besides academic status. In addition to your percentiles and CGPA, IIMA considers a number of other variables, such as work experience, results on the Common Admission Test (CAT), in-person interviews, and written ability exams. As of my most current knowledge update from January 2022, I have no exact information on the cutoffs or admission standards for IIMA in 2023. For up-to-date information, it's advisable to check the official IIMA website or contact the admissions office as the prerequisites for admission may change from year to year.Strong academic qualifications, good CAT scores, and appropriate professional experience are commonly sought for by IIMA. An essential part of the admissions process is the CAT score. To increase your chances of being accepted into IIMA, you should strive for a high CAT percentile.Focus on honing your CAT exam study, obtaining pertinent job experience, and putting together a compelling application that includes a well-written CV and an engaging statement of purpose if you want to increase your chances. In addition, think about getting involved in extracurricular activities and emphasizing your leadership responsibilities and successes.Remember that getting into top management schools is based on many factors than just your academic standing. A comprehensive approach is taken in assessing a candidate's profile during the admissions process.

Out of the maximum CAT marks, the CAT 100 percentile score ranged from 70 to 90 percentage score. A candidate has to have scored 140 to 180 points in the CAT to be in the 100 percentile. You stand a high probability of being admitted to IIM Ahmedabad if your CAT result was 100 percent. However, it is not a given that you will succeed in it. For admission to IIM Ahmedabad, however, the qualifying CAT cutoff percentile is 80 for general applicants, 75 for NC-OBC/EWS, 70 for SC/PwD, and 60 for ST candidates. For the general category, the final CAT cut-off percentile is often between 99 and 100, and for the reserved category, it is 95.
