While, it is impossible to pursue full-time regular MBA from Iims without CAT as it is a mandatory criteria for admission, there are other MBA courses candidates can opt for if they don't want to appear in CAT or don't have valid CAT score, The overall qualifying CAT cut-off for IIM Ahmedabad shortlist is 80 percentile for General Category, 75 percentile for NC-OBC, Transgender Categories, 70 for SC and PwD Categories and 60 for ST Category. The IIM Ahmedabad shortlisting process has begun and the institute has sent letters to eligible candidates. For IIM Ahmedabad Admission process :- Stage 1- The first stage is appearing for the Common Aptitude Test or CAT Exam conducted by the Iims (GMAT for international candidates). Stage 2- After clearing the required cut-offs and the composite score, a candidate is called for a Written Test/Group Discussion and Personal Interview (PI).

Admission in MBA is not entirely dependent on your graduation certificate. There are other enterance programs for admission in MBA. Some colleges also conduct personal interviews, so you can look into it and explain your situation.

If you have completed your articleship then it adds as your experience. But since you have cleared only group1 it would not be considered important. It will be better for you to clear group 2 as well and then go for FMS and IIMA.
