IIM Sirmaur Admission Overview 2027
Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur admissions are offered to management programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. IIM Sirmaur admissions are entirely based on entrance examinations. Details are given below:
- MBA: Candidates need to appear for CAT and obtain a valid score in it to be considered for IIM Sirmaur MBA. Candidates are selected based on composite score.
- BMS: Candidates need to appear for IPMAT ATS for IIM Sirmaur BMS. They need to submit valid score obtained in ATS while filling applicatiom form on official institute website.

As per 2025 data, cutoff for admissions was 90 percentile. CAT qualifying percentile changes from year to year and depends on several criteria decided by IIM Sirmaur. This depends on the number of students applying for admission through CAT and several other criteria set by the Indian Institute of Management–Sirmaur (IIM–Sirmaur).
IIM Sirmaur follows the reservation policy of the Government of India for admission in MBA. It allocates 27% of its seats to NC-OBC, 15% to SCs, 7.5% to STs, and 10% to EWS. Reservation of 5% is provided for PwD across all categories.
The trailerblazer score is given based on the undergraduate degree of the candidates. It accounts for 5% (5 marks out of 100) of the final composite score for merit list. Candidates are given points if they have completed the following degrees:

STEP 1: IIM Sirmaur Application Process
Candidates wishing to get admission to the most opted MBA programme of IIM Sirmaur can take the CAT examination. CAT form can be filled by candidates by paying the application fee of INR 2,700 (INR 1,350 for SC/ST/PwBD). For admission in BMS or PhD, students can apply through IIM Sirmaur's official site. STEP 2: IIM Sirmaur Selection Process 2026
The selection criteria for admission to the MBA is completely entrance-based candidates having valid CAT scores will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview PI round. The final selection in MBA programme is based on composite score. Below are its components & weightage:

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
Selected students are given an admission offer. They need to pay IIM Sirmaur acceptance fee to reserve their seats.
