IIM Visakhapatnam offers two courses under Executive MBA/PGDM. Post Graduate Program for Experienced Professionals (PGPEx) and The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). The total fee charged by the institute for the PGP programme is INR 17.82 lakh which includes programme fee and student welfare fee. Students are also required to pay a one-time refundable caution deposit of INR 30,000 at the beginning of term one. IIM Visakhapatnam haven't mentioned any fees for the PhD programme. The institution do provide financial support to the candidates pursuing PhD in any specilisation.  PhD Program students in good standing will receive a stipend of INR 30,000 per month in the first year with a 10% annual increment up to a maximum of five years in addition to tuition fee waiver. Contingency Grant:Rs.75,000 (in Year 1) and Rs.25,000 (annually from Year 2 to Year 5) Hostel accommodation will not be provided. Like any other management institute, IIM Visakhapatnam admission is entirely based on CAT scores for PGP. Candidates have to follow the CAT admission procedure. Whereas, for courses like PGPEX and PhD application can be directly submitted through IIM Visakhapatnam official website. Candidates are then shortlisted for the Interview based on overall profile. The final selection in other programmes offered at IIM Vizag will be made based on a composite score comprising the performance in CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ IIMV Test, Diversity, Technical Knowledge and Domain Experience, SOP, Professional References and Personal Interview score.

IIM Visakhapatnam accepts CAT scores for admission to the management courses. However, the institute does not release the CAT cutoffs in the public domain and is exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the exam. IIMs accept both sectional and overall cutoff for admission. CAT 2024 cutoff will be tentatively declared in the month of Jan. The PGPEx is a course for working professionals. The  candidates must hold a bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidates must have a minimum of three years of full ime work experience after their qualifying degree. A valid CAT, GMAT or GRE score to be considered for admission. 

IIM Ranchi accepts CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview round for admission to the managaement courses.
