IIM Visakhapatnam Admission 2025: Fee, Eligibility, Application (Open) & Selection Criteria

IIM Visakhapatnam offers various courses under PG and doctoral level. The Institution offers a total of five main courses across multiple specialisations and various certification courses as well. IIM Visakhapatnam MBA admission is based on CAT exam. Candidates must apply for CAT and must select IIM Visakhapatnam in CAT registration form. IIM Visakhapatnam admission is conducted in phase wise manner. STEP 2: Once the CAT results are out, candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirement are required to fill out the detailed online application form available on the IIM Visakhapatnam website by using their CAT registration number.

IIM Visakhapatnam does not charge any separate application fees for its PGP/ MBA programme. Candidates are just required to pay CAT exam application fees which is INR 2,400 for General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates. For the SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates, the application fees is INR 1,200. Also the institution has its own separate application for non-CAT courses like PGPEX, where the application fee is INR 1,000 (INR 500 for NC-OBC/ EWS and SC, ST, PwD category candidates and women candidates are exempt from the application fee).

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam offers PGP (equivalent to an MBA) at the postgraduate level. PGP is the flagship course offered by the institute. The total fee charged by the institute for the PGP programme is INR 17.82 lakh which includes programme fee and student welfare fee. Students are also required to pay a one-time refundable caution deposit of INR 30,000 at the beginning of term one. An advance amount of INR 29,970 (for Mess and AC charges) will have to be paid in addition to the fee mentioned above along with each term fee.

STEP 1: The Financial Aid Committee undertakes a two-step process for deciding the number of awardees and the quantum of aid. First, students are required to submit an application form with the following details:

STEP 3: The faculty panel evaluates the financial requirements of students based on the data provided in the application form, and upon their assessments, assigns a Financial-Need Score to each student. By using the weighted average methodology established by the committee, finally, shortlisted applicants are granted financial assistance.
