IIT JAM 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 15, 2026. The examination will be held in 2 sessions. IIT Madras, the examination conducting body will be organizing the exam at the JAM 2026 exam centres across the nation.

IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. NTA announced JEE Main 2024 dates. NTA coducted the JEE Main 2024 exam in two sessions. JEE Main 2024 exam date session 1 was January 24 to February 1 while the second session was held from April 4 to 15. The modes of Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati admission are online and offline. IIT Tirupati offers the four-year BTech across five specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Tirupati - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 4011. In 2023, it decreased to 3701. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 1432 to 1428 for OBC, 834 to 875 for SC, 399 to 307 for ST, 537 to 643 for EWS. IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE 2024 exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The GATE 2024 application form was released on 24th August 2024 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE 2024 was IISc Bangalore. The exam was conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Candidates had to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The candidates of MSc course offered at IIT Tirupati should have met the basic eligibility criteria for the course. Further, they are required to apply for IIT-JAM by visiting the official website of its conducting body. To apply for IIT-JAM for MSc admission at IIT Tirupati, follow the step-wise application process mentioned below:

Step 1: Register at JOAPS by filling in and submitting details such as name, email address, mobile number, and password

Step 2: Fill out the IIT JAM application form with all the necessary details.

IIT Tirupati admission is entrance-based, therefore, candidates are required to secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams and qualify for the counselling rounds for final admission. The Institute offers UG, PG and PhD level programmes, wherein, for courses such as BTech, candidates must qualify JEE Main and secure a minimum aggregate of 75% in Class 12.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech at IIT Tirupati are required to meet with the minimum eligibility criteria (required for the course) and also have a valid score in the GATE exam. To be eligible, candidates must have one of the following:

• Completed their BE/ BTech/ BSc (Eng) with at least 60% aggregate (55% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or 6.0 CPI (5.5 in case of SC/ST/PWD) out of 10 OR
• a first-class specified by the university OR
• BTech degree holders from any of the IITs with a minimum CPI of 8.0 will be directly admitted to M.Tech programme (under Teaching Assistants position through a written test/ or an Interview).

Out of all the BTech specialisations offered by IIT Tirupati, Computer Science and Engineering has the most competitive cutoff in Round 6 of 2022 compared to the rest. Electrical Engineering follows this branch of Engineering. With respect to the placements, companies, such as Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler and Salesforce have been hiring students of CSE.
