IIT Tirupati Campus Highlights
In 2015, the institute was established under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Started at Renigunta Road, the institute is now located in Yerpedu, near Tirupati. The campus has a scenic mountain backdrop and is spread over 530 acres of land. The campus follows global standards and environmental sustainability. IIT Tirupati infrastructure is synonymous with a learning ecosystem. The IIT Tirupati campus houses eight 60-seater classrooms and one 120-seater classroom, which were developed with the necessary furniture. A virtual classroom with a capacity of 120 students is also available for the students. It also features a health centre to cater to the medical needs of the students. On-call doctors are available in case of medical emergencies. The institute also has multiple clubs for recreational activities among the students. Some of them include Actomania, Nisarga, Neeti Bodh, PFC, Sahayog, etc.

IIT Tirupati Hostel
IIT Tirupati has 6 multistoried hostel blocks for the students. The hostel rooms are allocated on a sharing basis. The hostels are separate for girls and boys, faculty, and staff members. IIT Tirupati hostels are spacious and have study areas, Wi-Fi, and round-the-clock water and electricity facilities. All the hostel rooms are equipped with basic furniture, such as chairs, study tables, cots, almirahs, drying stands, etc. For recreational purposes, each hostel block has a common room where the students have access to TVs, indoor board games, newspapers, and magazines. Hostels of IIT Tirupati are fully wifi enabled. It has a rooftop solar system for hot water, RO for purified drinking water, water coolers, washing machines, and other necessary facilities. The hostels are taken care of by student representatives and resident assistant wardens. They work under the guidance of the council of wardens.
IIT Tirupati also has a canteen, which offers students a variety of snacks, food items, and refreshments. It is located in the basement of hostel C. It also provided mess and dining facilities and provided hygienic food for the students, faculty, and staff members. The menu offers a number of dishes to cater to the diverse student community. Moreover, residential quarters are well arranged for faculty and staff, creating a close-knit community where students and teachers can interact beyond classrooms.
