The worst media college in Kolkata.
Placements: Placements were really bad not even 10 percent of the students got placed from the college itself. The highest package was 4 LPA and the average was 2 LPA-2.5 LPA. Zomato came to recruit. 30-40 percent of students got internships from my batch. We were not being offered any roles.
Infrastructure: There was library, Wi-Fi, and a computer lab. Students only used to go there to make vlogs and shoot short films. Classrooms were very tiny. There were no hostels provided by the college because they don't have any. Wi-Fi is pathetic and we never used it.
Faculty: Teachers were somehow partial. If they didn't like you then they will make your life miserable. The course was irrelevant, it didn't made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were easy although. Even if you started studying before two days before the exams you can get good results.
Other: The campus crowd was good if you find your people or you might feel lonely. I still haven't received my graduation certificate.

One of the best colleges in Kolkata with great teachers and top notch facilities.
Placements: Many students are placed in different companies. Apart from them, some also started their own firms. Placements were done keeping in mind the talent and the skills of the students. Other than that, options of many internships are provided where the students get to learn a lot.
Infrastructure: One of the best infrastructures in Kolkata with classrooms equipped and the best studio with equipment. Top-of-the-line facilities with centralized AC classrooms and one of the biggest libraries in Kolkata, also turf and basketball courts for playing, and the presence of two auditoriums for events.
Faculty: The faculty is top-notch and is really very helpful. We got mentors and not only teachers who were always there to support and help all the students, not only academically but also through life itself. One can get all-around growth once in the college for the 3 years.
Other: The college is filled with events and opportunities to learn a lot, and with all the modern amenities and wonderful teachers, it is one of the most recommended colleges.

Overall a good 3 year experience here.
Placements: Placements in Lead are not that great or helpful. However, if you get a placement in the lead, that is not up to the mark of justifying your feeling paid at the time of admission. The starting salary of most job placements from here is around $10,000 per month, at least.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in Lead is so good. I first fell in love with its infrastructure. They use sustainability in everything. Also, that might be a reason for the breaking down of Celleing then and now. But it's full of recycled stuff, and that's cool.
Faculty: Well, the faculty members here at Lead are pretty good; they are helpful. But most of them are going to take half classes. Well, I think this happens in every college. Some teachers are a bit partial to their favorite bunch of students. But not all teachers are like this. Most of them are good.

Great infrastructure and facilities are available but the teachers' behaviour needs to be improved!
Placements: Lead assures almost over 90% of the students of my course to be placed somewhere. The average package offered for my course is about 25 thousand rupees monthly. Most of the students belonging to my course got internships in authentic companies, as previously assured by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and its facilities is the best thing about this college, according to me. The classrooms are big, clean, air conditioned and also have projectors. AV room, library and canteen are there and Wi-Fi connection is also available during the college hours.
Faculty: The overall quality of teachers of this college isn't bad but a number of teachers belonging to this college have anti-hindu mentality and they even disrespect Hinduism during an ongoing class! The course curriculum is alright and almost every student passes.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore the media industry. One can become a professional media person after earning a degree in Media Science. Events, fests, sports and all sorts of extracurricular activities are often organised in the college.

Our college has good infrastructure and very friendly and good faculty members.
Placements: SVF, Eskay Movies, and ABP are a few recruiting companies. The placement rate is very good. Some students got placed as news anchors, radio jockeys, content writing interns, marketing associates, event organisers, commercial photographers, etc.
Infrastructure: An AV library, a chroma Studio, auditoriums, Mac, and the best windows and PC setups are available for editing and other assignments. The library has more than 1 lacs books. All facilities are very good. Our college has many canteens which offer a variety of food items.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and friendly. They help whenever we ask them. The curriculum is very much industry-oriented. The teaching quality is very good and interactive. Semester exams are a bit difficult, but teachers guide everyone to tackle those.

Obviously the best college in west Bengal if you are opting for journalism.
Placements: Students get ample opportunities to work with different brands. We also get different scopes of internships to work. The minimum package that students received was 3Lpa. We got an offer from the Times of India, Sutraa exhibition, PwC, PS Group, etc. 20 out of 30 students got excellent internships during my course.
Infrastructure: We have one of the best-designed interiors with plants all around. We have Wi-Fi on the entire campus. We are provided with three different canteens, two large libraries, and a fully centralized AC. The classrooms are colorful enough to cheer you up. The food served in canteens is super fresh and hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are too good. They are always available for students and find incredible ways to help students. Lead is the best college in Kolkata for media studies and digital marketing. No matter how difficult the exam is, the college prepares us 1-2 months prior with every study material.
Other: We have so many events. For students, for teachers, for parents, for everyone. The event club and cultural club of ILEAD arrange events for every festival with dress codes and an awesome DJ.

Our college is the best place if you want to explore yourself and polish your skills.
Placements: Our college provides a number of internship opportunities to the students of Media Science from 2nd year onwards, which are even striped based. Some of the very recent recruiters are companies like Zee Media, SVf, Hoichoi, ABP News, etc. But I would like to mention that some companies fail to keep their commitment during work as well as during stipend time.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and infrastructure of our college are great, and they are improving day by day. There's a new campus getting ready. The best part is the library, where there are more than 4 lakh books. The campus has more than 3 canteens where they serve fresh food.
Faculty: The faculty members over here in our college are great. They are really helpful and friendly. The course, which can be a bit disappointing, At the time of admission, we were enrolled in the course "B.Sc in Media Science", but later on, without even a single notice to the students, we were registered under the course "B.Sc in Media Science and Film Making", which is only followed at the lead. This syllabus is specifically designed by our college, with specialisation subjects removed and a poor course structure.

It has many opportunities, good infrastructure. Teachers focus on academics and extracurriculars.
Placements: It is compulsory for us to do internships in the 5th-6th semester, and attendance is not hampered. We haven't been offered placements yet, but we get regular updates on internships. Some of them are good, but they could be better as most of the internships are unpaid.
Infrastructure: Our college's biggest strength is its modern and up-to-date infrastructure with various eco-friendly elements throughout the 2 campuses. It has Chroma Studio, a sports campus, different canteens and open areas. Students are at first and most attracted to these aspects of the college.
Faculty: Our college comprises of young teachers who choose new methods to teach, and they are very friendly, which serves as a stark contrast against teachers from other colleges. Even the curriculum involves a lot of practical work for media students, which helps them to be industry-ready.
Other: I am a final year student of this college. From the first day itself, our college has challenged and encouraged me in many ways. It treats its students in a way that by the 2nd year itself, they become more confident than before, and they would be able to pull off events and tasks independently. Activities and the freedom to choose to participate in their preferred fields help in the overall growth of the students. Every student here is genuinely groomed in their personalities. Unconventional courses are offered here, and some of them are not available anywhere in Kolkata. Overall, our college is great for students who not only want to focus on academics but also on extracurricular activities. Students here have a lot of fun.

I don't think so that will be a problem. Mass communication is a new and a different subject. One starts learning from the day 1 whether you are from a science background, commerce or humanities background it doesn't matter.
