The total seat intake for Executive PGDM course is 350 as per an unofficial source. IMI Delhi shortlists candidates based on entrance exam score. The institute considers CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT, etc. for providing admission. Candidates without any of the Management entrance exam scores would be admitted provisionally based on their performance in IMI Admission Test but they have to necessarily clear one of the abovementioned tests within six months of joining the programme. The shortlisted aspirants are called for an interview round. Candidates need to confirm their seat by paying a course fee.
Executive PGDM is an 18-month full-time General Management programme, including 12-month course work and six-month project work. There will be five trimesters of approximately three months each. The first four trimesters would be by way of classroom learning (along with industry engagement in different forms and styles) and in the last two trimester students are required to carry out an in-depth field project work in their chosen field of interest. In tandem with AICTE norms, the programme would be of 90 credit points (with 1 credit point being equivalent to 10 hours of classroom learning), with 84 credit points accruing from classroom learning and the remainder six credit points earned through project work.
CAT syllabus is vast. It has numerous topics from Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. Covering the CAT syllabus also includes practicing a variety of sample questions on the topics included. Thus, it requires a lot of time. Candidates must given themselves atleast 3-4 months to cover CAT syllabus and keep in mind the following:
· Check the previous years' CAT papers to know topics which carry more weightage so that you can focus on those topics more.
· List down topicsin order of easy, moderate and tough and allot time to them accordingly.
· Make sure to study about 6-8 hours per day to complete the syllabus 2-3 months before the exam.
· After studying every topic, practice sample questions. Balance theory with practical.
IMI Delhi admission 2024 was based on candidates' performance in the CAT exam. Shortlisting of candidates for IMI Delhi admission is done based on percentile secured by them in the entrance exam. A minimum cut off is fixed for this purpose. The minimum cut off varies from one year to another. International Management Institute MBA cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to its MBA/PGDM and Executive MBA/PGDM courses. The cutoff percentile for General AI quota stood at 90. Candidates who meet the admission cut off are selected for Extempore and PI rounds. However, IMI Delhi Cut Off 2025 is yet to be released for the candidates seeking admission to the MBA course via CAT exam.
