  • IMI Kolkata has announced the list of students admitted to the PGDM programme for the 2022-24 batch.
  • PGDM 2022-24 admissions are currently open. Interested candidates can apply online. The institute has not released any last date of application. The same will be updated here once out.  

International Management Institute (IMI), Kolkata approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is a premier B-School in Kolkata. The institute is backed by prominent corporate houses like Nestle, ITC, SAIL, TATA, etc. It offers two programmes which include a two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), and a four-year Fellowship Management Programme (FPM). Admission to these programmes is based on the scores obtained in the national entrance tests.

IMI Kolkata Admission Process 2022

IMI Kolkata accepts application through online mode only. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria of the desired programme before applying. Here are some important points regarding admission:

  • Candidates for FPM programme are selected based on the scores obtained in Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and personal interview round conducted by the college itself
  • Admission to the PGDM programme is based on the merit in CAT/ GMAT/ XAT entrance exam followed by Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the college itself. Candidates with work experience are given preference in admission

IMI Kolkata PGDM Admission 2022 

For PGDM programme, candidates are first shortlisted on the basis of scores obtained in CAT/ GMAT/ XAT entrance exam and academics (Class 10, 12 and graduation). Shortlisted candidates have to then appear for WAT and PI conducted by the institute. WAT & PI is conducted at the following centres:

IMI Kolkata FPM Admission 2022

Selection for FPM course is based on RAT entrance test followed by Interview conducted by the institute. The admission process includes – filling an application form, appearing for interview/ essay writing/ psychometric test round and lastly preparation of merit list. Final admission offer is made on the basis of candidate’s composite score made during the various stages of the selection process. IMI Kolkata Application Process 2022

Candidates should follow the below steps to apply for the respective programmes:

For PGDM programme

Step I: Candidates should first check the eligibility criteria and application requirements

Step II: Candidates should then fill the online application form

Step III: Lastly, for completing the application form candidates need to make the payment of Rs 1180 (including GST) through net banking/ credit card/ debit card.

Step IV: Print the application form for future reference

For FPM programme

Step I: Candidates need to first download the application form from the official website

Step II: Fill the form manually by entering the correct details which include both personal and professional details

Step III: Stick the passport size photograph at the mentioned area on the form

Step IV: Pay the application fee of Rs 1180 through DD drawn in favour of ‘International Institute of Kolkata’ payable at Kolkata and send it to the following address:

IMI Kolkata Scholarships 2022

IMI, Kolkata offers scholarships to economically weaker sections, meritorious students and candidates excelling in extra-curricular activities. Here are some important points regarding scholarships:

  • All students whose family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum are eligible for scholarship under Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
  • IMI Kolkata will be offering a 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for its upcoming batch with an outstanding academic career to date. The 100 per cent tuition fee waiver will be sanctioned for the first year. The student’s first-year performance will be reviewed at the end of that year for renewal of the waiver for the second year.  
  • The selection for the 100 per cent tuition waiver scheme is based on overall academic excellence and performance in the personal interview. Students availing of the scheme are required to maintain a CGPA of 8 or above to avail the benefit throughout their two years course of study.

I am satisfied by the faculty as well as the hostel facilities provided by the college.

Placements: 90% of the students of PGDM batch 18-20 got placed. The highest package was of 22 LPA and the lowest package was of 3 LPA. Top recruiters were Deloitte, PWC, Randstad, JSW Steel. 95% of students of PGDM Batch 19-21 got their internship. Top roles were in sales and marketing.
