Imperial Institute of Advance Studies has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
MBA/PGDM	Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized college /university.
B.A.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.

I would like to suggest that before taking admission, ensure the credibility of the college and their recognition status. Since the distance engineering is not recognised by AICTE. I would suggest not pursuing such courses.

The right way to get admission in 2nd year of UG courses is to apply through State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State by using the following website: http://cetcell.mahacet.org/ Then you have to click on Direct Second year Engineering (DSE).
