IIGJ Jaipur admission is open. Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery, popularly known as IIGJ Jaipur offers UG, Diploma, and Certificate programmes. IIGJ Jaipur Certificate Courses Admission 2025

10 courses 1 month - 2 years

Apart from the degree courses, it also offers diploma and certificate programmes in more than 10 specialisations. The duration of these programmes varies from course-to-course. Admission to all these programmes is done on merit basis. The final selection of candidates is based on the HSC scores.

The Institute offers two diploma programmes in Jewellery Design and Gem Identification. After the completion of these courses, students will get an opportunity to work as Jewellery Merchandiser, Design Interpreter, Mid-level Process Manager, Production Supervisors, Gemologists, Gemstone Assorter and more.

The Institute offers short-term certificate courses with a duration of up to five months. These courses are majorly offered in four streams, namely Computer-Aided Design, Gem Identification, Jewellery Manufacturing & Production and Gemstone Cutting & Polishing. Any candidate, who has completed Class 12, can apply for any of the certificate courses. The final selection of candidates is based on the marks secured in the Class 12 exam.

The college is good for placements and training.

Placements: The minimum percentage required is 70-75%. The lowest package offered is 15,000-20,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are Valentine Gold and Silver, Rk Derewala, Toshniwal Trading Corporation, Jaipur etc. I think 100% of students got internships from my course in CAD and CAM.

Infrastructure: The college has neat and clean washrooms. The classrooms are arranged very systematically. There is a library with a good and peaceful environment. The hostel has single-sharing, double-sharing and triple-sharing rooms, with attached bathrooms.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful to us in solving every problem. The college trains us for companies, and after completing our course, we are sent to companies for interviews. I know only about short-term courses, in which only we have to submit portfolio of our work.

Other: All my batchmates are very helpful to me and all others. All are very helpful.
