IIM Udaipur Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Results, Cutoff, Courses, Selection Criteria, Eligibility

IIM Udaipur offers courses in various management programme. Programmes offered are the two-year MBA, two one-year MBA (GSCM & DEM). The Institution also offers programme in doctoral-level with duration of four to five years and PG Diploma in Management with a duration of 24 months. To get into the programme there are various entrance exams like CAT, CAP, GMAT, etc. and also one Institution based entrance exam i.e. IIMU test. Further, the admission process includes PI and Profile scoring.

MBA requires a valid CAT score. Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration also requires a valid score of CAT/GMAT/GRE, but in case if the candidates don’t possess any of these scores, he/she can appear for the Institution Entrance Test known as Indian Institute of Management Test. The test is conducted by University online, so it can be taken from anywhere within the convenient of the candidate. A valid score from the IIMU test will be considered instead of CAT/GMAT/GRE score.

According to the IIM Udaipur official website no new dates are available for the Executive MBA programme. As per the eligibility criteria of the Executive MBA programme a valid CAT, GMAT, GRE or IIMU Test scores is  required, hence the candidates will be required to appear for the CAT, GMAT, GRE or IIMU Test. Since CAT, GMAT, GRE are common entrance exam for admission to MBA programme in most of the Management Schools its mandatory for every candidates to register for the exams by visiting the individual exams official website. 

Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP) are the two certification courses offered by IIM Udaipur. The eligibility criteria of DPM and SMP is bachelor’s/Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Work experience also comes under the criteria: for DPM minimum two years of experience in product management functions, or minimum five years of experience across any domain or function. Whereas, SMP requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience or, a minimum of 8+ years of experience with a Post Graduation.

IIM Udaipur does offer certification course. The courses offered are Digital Product Management (DPM) and Senior Management Programme (SMP). DPM covers a period of six months and 125 hours of online live session, with three days campus immersion experience with fifteen hours on campus module IIM Udaipur. Whereas, SMP is tweleve month duration programme, with 120 hours of online live session and seven days campus immersion experience in IIM Udaipur.

Post Graduate Diploma Course Business Administration is a specialised course offered by IIM Udaipur. The course is a 24 month programme delivered in online mode and two one-week campus mode. The eligibility criteria for the specific programme is 12 years of school education and 3 years of university education with a Bachelor degree or equivalent in any discipline. Also a minimum three years of full-time post qualification experience and a valid GMAT score, or valid GRE score, or CAT scores  or score of the admission test to be conducted by IIMU.

The one-year MBA programme is a full-time residential programme for candidates with work experience. As the time period being one year, the programme becomes an intense experience with all the learning activities crammed within the course period of 12 months. Whereas, MBA two-years programme is an emerging course for candidates who are a fresher to Management. The programme allows candidates to explore the field through detailed learning activities, internship and other campus activities

IIM Udaipur releases final merit list for MBA in late April. This list is prepared based on a composite score. It includes your CAT performance, interview score, and academic details. If you are selected, you will receive an official admission offer at your registered email ID. 

Indian Institute of Management Udaipur makes the Personal Interview a critical part of MBA admission. It is designed to test your communication skills and confidence. During the interview, faculty members might ask about your academic background or work experience. They also gauge your reasons for pursuing a management degree. 

IIM Udaipur offers Executive programme i.e. Online Post Graduation Diploma in Buisness Administration for Working Executives. PGDBAWE is a twenty four months duration programme delivered in online mode and two one-week campus mode. Candidates wishing to pursue the Executive MBA programme must have a  minimum of three years of full-time post-qualification work experience along with CAT/GMAT/GRE scores. If candidates do not possses CAT/GMAT? GRE scores they can appear fror the Institution based entrance exam i.e. IIMU Test.

IIM Udaipur designs the Executive MBA for seasoned professionals with significant experience. You need a minimum of 36 months of full-time work experience after completing your graduation. The programme values the practical knowledge you bring from your workplace. IIM Udaipur requires you to fill an online application for EMBA. First register on the official portal and enter your personal and professional details. Then, upload documents like marksheets and experience certificates. A non-refundable application fee of INR 1000 is to be paid. For the IIMU Test, there is an additional fee of INR 1000. 

IIM Udaipur introduced a flexible "Multiple Entry and Exit" system for Executive MBA. Students can choose to exit after one year with a PG Diploma. If they wish, they can return later to complete the second year and earn full degree. This NEP-compliant feature makes learning flexible.

Yes, MBA batch size at IIM Udaipur is not fixed and changes on an annual basis. For example, 2026-28 batch has an intake of 375 students, while the 2024-26 batch enrolled 384 students, while the previous years saw intakes of 360 and 347. Any changes to the seat policy or batch size can be checked on IIM Udaipur portal.
