IIMC Kottayam admission procedure is completely entrance-based followed by a centralised counselling process. Candidates need to go through each of the stages of the admission procedure for selection. The complete admission process is explained below:
STEP 1: IIMC Kottayam Application Process 2025
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website (iimc.nic.in) of the institute. The application form can also be downloaded online and submitted at the institute's admission office. Aspirants can apply for CUET-PG through the NTA official website.
If students want to apply for more than one course, they must fill in only one application form. After the application form is accepted, a URN (Unique Registration Number) that can be used for future reference is shared with the candidates.
STEP 2: Merit List Release & Campus Allocation
After the CUET-PG result is announced, IIMC announces a merit list on its official website. The campus allotment in the list is made on the basis of merit-cum-preference. Besides, the campus allotment is one according to an alphabetical roster. Such students can be required to again register online for counselling. Chosen candidates must confirm admission within seven days by paying fee along with documents.
STEP 3: Centralised Registration Process
Additionally, applicants must produce a printout of the application for the NIC filled at the time of registration and signed by parents. Seats are released by the institute up to desired admissions based on the seat intake. If seats remain vacant after several rounds, then candidates of interest per the IIMC category-wise merit list receive an opportunity.
IIMC Kottayam Fee & Seats 2025
IIMC Kottayam fee is an aggregate of various elements like tuition fee, security deposit, hostel fee, mess fee, etc. The elements like security fees are chargeable once. The remaining fee elements may or may not be refundable, may have to be paid semester-wise or yearly. IIMC Kottayam seat allotment is also done according to the Government of India guidelines. The eligibility criteria for PG Diploma courses at IIMC, Kottayam are as follows: The candidate must have passed the Graduation Degree from a recognised University. Result-awaited candidates can also apply on a provisional basis. The age limit and reservation of seats are also considered for admission. The institute offers admission based on the IIMC entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) or IIMC's official website. The application fee is Rs 1,000 and Rs 750 for each course for General and SC/ ST/ OBC/ differently-abled candidates.
