National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) admissions are based on merit. The institute considers applications of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria. National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) offers courses at UG and PG levels. Some of the courses include B.A., B.Sc. and PG Diploma. National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) PG Diploma is offered to candidates at the PG level. Candidates are required to participate in the entrance-based admission process to be considered for the final admission offer. Candidates are shortlisted for the PG Diploma programme based on their performance in the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the admission process are eligible to secure their seat in the 11 months programme.

Candidates interested in the fields related to Humanities and Social Sciences can enroll in the National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) B.Sc. programme, which lasts for 4 years. Candidates are not required to appear for any entrance exams as the admission process is merit-based. The final shortlist for admission to the B.Sc. programme is determined by the candidates' academic scores.
