Q:   Can I take admission in IIMC-Delhi after class 12th or do I need to clear any entrance exam?


You have to take CUET-PG for admission to the PG Diploma programmes offered by IIMC Delhi. As per its 2023 prospectus, the institute is carrying out admissions based on merit in this national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). IIMC Delhi PG Diploma admission is based on CUET-PG score. Shortlisted candidates further have to go through a centralised counselling process. After the provisional admission during counselling, a centralised registration process is carried out by IIMC Delhi for document verification. Yes, a candidate can apply through online mode. IIMC Delhi accepts online applications through its official website. This registration process shall be carried out after the declaration of CUET-PG application process and candidates who meet the cutoff can apply. Aspirants need to fill in the application form with details such as name, parent’s name, educational details, etc. Further, to submit the form, aspirants have to pay an application fee. The application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. Students should keep the receipt with them for future references.

Candidates had to follow the steps given below to apply for CUET PG 2024.

  • Visit the official website of CUET PG 2024 – Link will be provided soon

  • Read the instructions and select the agreement checkbox followed by clicking on the tab ‘Click Here to Proceed’

  • Enter personal details such as candidate name, parents’ name, date of birth, gender, nationality, identity type and number followed by present and permanent address

  • Choose password and security question and enter captcha

  • Once the application number and password are generated, log in with the credentials to complete the application process

  • Complete the CUET (PG) 2024 application form by entering the information related to personal details, selecting paper and exam cities, educational details and uploading a photograph and signature

  • The photograph and signature should be in JPEG format. While the photograph should be between 10 KB to 200 KB, the signature should be between 4 KB to 30 KB.

  • The application fee has to be paid in online mode through Credit/Debit Card, Netbanking and UPI

Placements: In the field of advertising, the college has a strong placement record of 85% in various companies such as advertising and public relations sectors, and various corporate communication agencies, both public and private. Roles like editor, reporter, etc., are given. The highest recommended salary package is 7 LPA, and the minimum is 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was not that big, but the facilities were good. We had a good sanitary room. Some people can't accept the food served at first, but later they will feel it. However, I really liked the food served at our hostel. It was a very good experience.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and frank. The quality of education is good, but attendance is a problem. The curriculum includes activities that can be placed on a resume and eventually found to be helpful. Self-examination of your efforts in college is important. The semester exam is very easy, and the pass rate is 90%.

Placements: Companies like Accenture, NDTV, Prasar Bharati, Inshorts, and more come to hire candidates for editing and other fields. Sub-editors, Copy Writers, and more are offered to candidates. The highest package was around 7 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.5 to 3 LPA. It is good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection is available on the campus. A small canteen is there where we could buy snacks and eat lunch and dinner. The library has a good collection of books, and classrooms are well-equipped with digital whiteboards. The digital media lab has computers for learning various programs.
Faculty: The exams were pretty decent. The faculty was kind and helpful; additional guest lectures were also conducted through online and offline mediums or various digital tools and software. It makes the students equipped with skills required to prevail in the industry.

Placements: Our college provides very good placement opportunities for its students. Around 50–60% of the students get placed in our course. The average package offered was between 4 and 5 LPA. Various media houses and news magazines visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The college had a well-maintained and developed infrastructure for our course. The college was offering all the necessary facilities to the students. The entire college campus had Wi-Fi connectivity and was secured with cameras. Labs, a library, canteen and sports facilities were also available for the students of the college.
Faculty: The faculty of our college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about this college. Teachers were making us understand all the concepts in detail. The quality of teaching was also good. I like the campus environment.
Placements: In the field of advertising the college holds strong placement records of 85% with different companies like advertising, PR sectors, and various corporate communication both public and private organizations. Roles of editor, reporter, etc. Are offered.
Infrastructure: Very nicely maintained infrastructure with regular repair and maintenance happening, we have a garden, library, classroom, dean cabins, admission department, and administrative department all in our department block. There is medical help, Wi-Fi connection, and laundry service as well.
Faculty: The exams happen in the semester system along with mid-sem happening for internal components, the mid-seams are a bit tough to score. The curriculum is strong and build a good foundation base and various project works are given in 2nd year. The teaching quality adopted is good.

Infrastructure: There are various facilities in different blocks that one can avail of at the hostel. Like for premium, you have all-kid facilities with good quality delivery. The food also has a has a satisfactory taste. The department has a good AC connection and a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: The vast curriculum is what helps get students good placement. To make us industry-ready, various seminars are also conducted to increase our industry connections. The passing rate is 95%. The teachers are good, as is their teaching quality, and yes, they are qualified.
