CUET PG 2024 Exam is underway. NTA started the CUET PG 2024 exam on March 11, 2024 and concluded on March 28, 2024. Candidates taking CUET PG 2024 exam can go through the CUET PG 2024 question paper (memory based) here in this page. CUET PG previous year question paper will help them in underastanding the exam difficulty level, types of questions being asked and the depth of the CUET PG important topics mentioned in the syllabus which is needed to covered comprehensively.  

CUET PG 2024 aspirants must prepare for the examination from the detailed analysis from CUET PG syllabus 2024 and going through CUET PG 2024 previous year question papers.

NTA is expected to release the CUET PG 2024 question papers online, on the official website of NTA at the end of this year. Last year, the mode of the exam was shifted from paper-pencil-based to computer-based mode. Hence, candidates were not given the CUET 2023 question papers to be carried out from the exam centre. Students can also download the question papers of CUET PG at the NTA website. Q:   How many questions are asked in section A of CUET PG examination?

A:

There are "25 questions" asked in Section 1 of the CUET PG exam. This section is compulsory for all candidates and consists of questions on General English, General Hindi, General Knowledge and Reasoning Ability.

The General English questions will test your understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. The General Knowledge questions will cover a wide range of topics, including history, geography, current affairs, and science.

General Ability questions will cover topics like time, distance, average, mensuration, geometry, profit -loss etc.

There is no sectional timing for attempting these questions. Candidates are required to answer all 25 questions. There is  negative marking for incorrect answers.

 

Q:   Why CUET PG previous year's question papers are important?

A:

CUET PG previous year's question papers are important for several reasons. Some of the reasons are mentioned below:

a) To Get Familiar with Exam Pattern: Solving the previous year's question papers helps candidates to get familiar with the exam pattern, types of questions, and difficulty level of the exam. This can help them to prepare effectively and improve their chances of scoring well in the exam.

B) To Identify Important Topics: By solving the previous year's question papers, candidates can identify the important topics that are frequently asked in the exam. This can help them to prioritize their preparation and focus on the topics that are more likely to be asked in the exam.

 C) To Boosts Confidence: Solving the previous year's question papers can help candidates to build confidence and reduce exam anxiety. It can also help them to develop a strategy for time management and improve their speed and accuracy in solving the questions.

D) Practice and Revision: Solving the previous year's question papers can help candidates to practice and revise the concepts they have learned. This can help them to reinforce their understanding of the subject and identify areas where they need to improve.

 

Q:   How many questions are asked in Section B of the CUET PG exam?

A:

There are 75 questions asked in Section 2 of the CUET PG exam. This section contains domain-specific questions on the subject that you have chosen.

For example, if you have chosen the subject of English Literature, then Section 2 will contain questions on topics such as British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English, and Literary Theory.

The questions in Section 2 are all multiple-choice questions, and you will be given 2 hours to complete the section A and Section B.

How to Download CUET PG Question Papers (Official)

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to view and download the CUET question papers:

  • Visit the official website of NTA which is https://nta.ac.in/ 
  • Click on the tab "Downloads"
  • Select the year for which candidate want to downlaod the question paper.
  • Then select the exam type and then the name of the question paper.

 

Q:   When should I start solving the CUET PG previous year's question paper?

A:

It is advisable to start solving CUET PG question papers as part of your exam preparation at least 4-5 months before the exam date. This will give you sufficient time to practice and revise the concepts you have learned and develop a strategy for time management and improving your speed and accuracy.

Solving the previous year questions paper will give the idea about the topics in which on's preparation is lacking.You can also use the CUET PG question papers to identify the important topics and prioritize your preparation accordingly. It is important to solve the CUET PG question papers in a simulated environment, similar to the actual exam, to get a realistic experience. You should also time yourself while solving the question papers to improve your speed and accuracy and develop a strategy for managing time during the actual exam. Therefore, starting to solve CUET PG question papers early in your preparation and gradually increasing the difficulty level can help you to improve your chances of success in the exam.

 

Q:   Can I take the CUET PG question paper home after the exam?

A:

No, candidates are not allowed to take the CUET PG question paper or any other exam-related material outside the examination hall after the Computer Based Test (CBT) is over.

The CUET PG question paper is the property of the National Testing Agency NTA and it is not meant to be shared or circulated. However, candidates are allowed to take a printout of the questions and their responses which is released by the NTA along with the provisional answer key.

The 'Response Sheet', contains the questions that were asked in the exam along with the responses marked by the candidate. The Response Sheet can be used by the candidates to evaluate their performance and identify their mistakes. Candidates are advised to keep the Response Sheet safe for future reference. It is also important to note that the original response sheet remains with the NTA and it is used for the purpose of evaluation and preparation of the result. 

 

Q:   What is the ideal number of sample papers to be solved before the CUET PG exam?

A:

There is no fixed number of previous year question paper to solve by a candidate for the preparation of CUET PG Exam. The number of sample papers that a candidate should solve depends on their individual preparation, strengths, and weaknesses. However, it is advisable for candidates to solve as many CUET PG sample papers as possible to enhance their preparation and improve their chances of success in the exam. By solving sample papers, candidates can get familiar with the exam pattern, types of questions, and difficulty level of the exam. It can also help them to identify their strengths and weaknesses and prioritize their preparation accordingly. Candidates can start by solving at least one sample paper per week and gradually increase the frequency as the exam date approaches.

CUET PG 2024 Exam Structure

CUET PG 2024 exam pattern for the academic session 2024-2025 has been amended. NTA released its information brochure for the CUET PG 2024 examination. As per the information brochure, the CUET PG 2024 exam pattern be based on only domain knowledge questions. The general section/ Part A of CUET PG exam has been removed from here on. The candidate can choose General paper as a Subject.

Candidates must note that the Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability section is compulsory. The General Test also has to be taken by candidates opting for all test papers except Education (PGQP01).

 

 

Q:   What is the type of questions of CUET PG 2024?

A:

The type of questions in the CUET PG 2024 exam will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will have four answer options, and candidates will have to select the correct answer.

The questions in the exam will be based on the syllabus for the subjects that candidates have chosen. The syllabus for each subject is available on the NTA website.

 

Q:   What is the frequency of CUET PG exam?

A:

The CUET PG exam is conducted once a year. The exam is typically held in the month of March or April. The exact dates of the exam are announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) a few months before the exam.

The NTA releases a detailed notification for the CUET PG exam, which includes all the important information about the exam, such as the eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, and exam dates.

Q:   Would there be sectional time limit in CUET PG 2024?

A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) has not announced any changes to the CUET PG exam pattern. Therefore, it is likely that there will be no sectional time limit in CUET PG 2024. This means that candidates will have two hours to complete the entire exam, regardless of the section they are working on.

However, it is important to note that the NTA has the right to change the exam pattern at any time. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the official NTA website regularly for the latest updates.

CUET PG 2023 Chemistry Question Paper

Section A was found to be easy to moderate. In the aptitude and reasoning section many questions were asked from mathematics section like- profit and loss%, Interest (Simple and compound interest), time- distance. Other topics in section A was English comprehension, GK and current affairs. Coming to Section B analysis of Chemistry paper, as per the students review the CUET PG 2023 Chemistry exam was found to be moderately difficult.

CUET PG 2023 Mathematics Question Paper

The CUET PG 2023 examination is undergoing for admissions to PG courses in Universities (central, state, deemed, private) across the country. CUET PG 2023 examination commenced on June 5, 2023, and will conclude on June 17, 2023. CUET PG 2023 Medical Laboratory Technology Analysis

The section 1 of the examination was general paper which was sort of easy to solve. Candidates found the section 1 as easy one. Coming to the section 2 or section B, there were 75 questions which came from Domain knowledge og Medical laboratory Technology. Questions from this domain was found to be of analytical approach, but sort of direct questions were asked, which led the candidates easy to solve them.

CUET PG 2023 Economics Analysis

The section 1 of the examination was general paper which was again sort of easy to solve. Candidates found the section 1 as easy one. Coming to the section 2 or section B, there were 75 questions which came from Domain knowledge of Economics. Questions from this domain were found to be moderate to difficult. There were many questions that came direct from micro, macro-economics and money and inflation. Some questions were numerical and also from the domain of statistical methods of economics.

The section 1 of the examination was general paper which was again sort of easy to solve. Candidates found the section 1 as easy one. Coming to the section 2 or section B, there were 75 questions which came from Domain knowledge of BEd Languages.

CUET PG 2023: Zoology Analysis

Section A of the examination was found to be easy to moderate level. 5-8 questions came from General Knowledege, Unseen passage came in the language comprehension and some basic mathematical numerical came in the Section A which were easy to solve. Coming to the Section B of the question paper, many of the caniddates found the questions as moderate to difficult and others found it as easy to moderate.
