We have an average college experience with scope for improvement in IGIT SARANG.
Placements: In IGIT Sarang, the placement scenario is quite good. Around 75 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 7.5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2.75 LPA. The average package offered in my course is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are RIL, JSW, IAVL, UPL, etc. Almost all students get internships in different PSUs and other private companies like Tata, Jindal, and IMFA. The top role offered is a graduate engineering trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are the best among the government institutes. Labs are good. Wi-Fi is provided everywhere in the college and in the hostel. The college has a hostel. The hostel facilities are great. The food quality in the hostel mess and canteen is decent. Medical facilities are normal, like first aid. Sports are the best part of college.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. We have to solve our problems on our own. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is very helpful, and it makes students industry-ready. We can apply the knowledge practically what they taught in class. Semester exams are really tough, and we should study what the subject teacher teaches in the classroom. The pass percentage in the semester exams is 90 percent.

Everything is improving day by day & has a lot of scope.
Placements: About 80% students are placed in my course of B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. The average package for the year 2025 was around 4.25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Vedantu, L&T, and many more. The highest package for my course currently is around 12 to 13 LPA. But the off-campus package is more.
Infrastructure: According to fees, the hostel facilities, classrooms, and library are worth it. Some labs & library have AC rooms. In hostels, you get Wi-Fi, beds, fans, a switchboard, a track, 3 common bathrooms for each floor, washing machines, a volleyball court, a garden, security, etc. Mess & canteen food quality is average. For sports, you have Madhya Pradesh Mishra Memorial Stadium, a volleyball court, a kabaddi court, a badminton court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industries. This course includes industrial visits too for field knowledge. Lab rooms have machines that are used in many industries.
Other: My batch of B.Tech is the 44th batch of Chemical Engineering. The campus organizes lots of events, fests, and extracurricular activities to enhance your social activities. I chose this course as I was interested in Chemical Industries & also my elder brother from my neighborhood got a handsome package of 8 LPA in L&T.

Satisfied with the college I got.
Placements: I think more than 40% students get placed. Top companies like JSW, Reliance, Adani Company, Apollo Tyres company etc., recruiters come to our college. The minimum range is from 4 to 6 LPA, and the highest package is about 8 to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: We get free Wi-Fi access all over the college area, including the hostel. Labs are good, and we have a big library where, rather than course material, we get materials for competitive exams also, such as M Laxmikant's book, the Indian Economy, Governance in India book, etc. We have drinking water and toilets facility all over the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum is also good. The pass percentage is more than 70%, I think so. While comparing it to IIT or NIT syllabi, we also cover 70 to 80% of topics. Along with that, our faculty members help us in the GATE exam Preparation.
