Review of the AI and machine learning course at OIST.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is growing every year. Now, the placement percentage is good, as over 64 percent of students get placed in their field. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Cisco, TCS, and Capgemini in our college. The highest package offered in 2025 is 72 LPA, and the average package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very well maintained. There is a proper laboratory for every field. Computer labs have high-level working computers with proper Wi-Fi. The library has good books. Hostel food is being checked by faculty members to maintain hygiene. Sports and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college hold various PhD and M.Tech degrees. They are well qualified and knowledgeable about their subject. They are very approachable and guide students. The course curriculum is based on RGPV exams. Two mid-semester exams are taken to prepare us for the end-semester exam. Training classes are also given for skills.
Other: I chose this course because AI ML is a highly demanding course. It has a high scope in today's world.

Good infrastructure, but the campus is so small and I don’t find any campus life in this college.
Placements: Approximately 70–80 percent of students are placed every year. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, the highest till now is 72 LPA, and the average goes to 5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, SLK, Capgemini, HCL, etc. This college doesn’t provide internships.
Infrastructure: This college provides a library and labs with internet facilities, but in many areas of the college, jammers are installed. Hostel life on the college campus is really good. They provide food and other facilities like washing machines, common gas, gym, etc. They are not that much focused on sports; there is no such sports room for students.
Faculty: According to me, teachers are not that much knowledgeable according to today’s trends, but they are helpful and friendly in nature. This college follows the RGPV curriculum, which is backward according to industry standards. Semester exams are not that tough, they can be cleared easily by studying two days before the exam. The passing percentage is 33 out of 100, in which the written exam is of 70 marks and 30 marks are for practical.
Other: I chose this course as it is in trend, as AIML is a growing branch. According to me, this institute gives very less holidays to students, as Saturday is also a working day. They should improve this and give students more time for self-study.

Review of Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal.
Placements: The placement percentage is average in college. About 50-55 percent of students get placed on campus, but the students get off-campus placements if they are skilled. TCS, Cisco, and Capgemini are the top companies that visit our college for placements. Roles like AI engineer, software developer, software engineer, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: The college has a very beautiful and aesthetic building. Many movies are also shot here. Labs have good access to Wi-Fi, and they are clean and tidy. Canteen food is almost good. The hostel has good rooms, but the mess food is of low quality. Sports events are organised in a timely manner.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice and supportive. They are very good mentor and also guide us. They are also very understanding. They are qualified with M.Tech and PhD degrees. They are knowledgeable. Exams and study curriculum are based mostly on RGPV. Separate training and placement classes are also taken.
Other: I chose this course because it has a good scope in today's world, which is shifting towards AI, so I chose this course. I think studying this course should be more practical rather than just preparing for exams. Many events are organised at college, like GI, Garba, DJ night, concert night, and tech fest. Many extracurricular activities are organised here.

Nice campus and satisfying facilities.
Placements: The placement scenario for our batch was quite positive, with around 70–80 percent of eligible students getting placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is between 8–12 LPA, the lowest package ranged around 2.5 LPA–3 LPA, and the average package stayed near 3.5–4 LPA. Several well-known companies visited the campus including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and a few emerging startups which provided opportunities in both technical and non-technical.
Infrastructure: The college offers good infrastructure for the course, with well-equipped labs, stable Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms that make learning easier. The library has enough books and a quiet space for study. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and regular maintenance. The mess provides simple but fresh food, and the canteen offers extra meal options. Basic medical support is available on campus and students also get access to sports grounds and indoor games.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable. Most teachers explain topics clearly. The curriculum is relevant and helps build basic industry-required skills though students need extra practice through projects. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and regular study is enough to pass. The overall pass percentage is good and the college provides guidance before exams. The teaching quality and curriculum offer a decent learning experience.
Other: I chose the AIML branch because I wanted to build skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning which have strong future scope. The best parts are supportive faculty, good labs, and a friendly campus crowd. The AIML course and campus experience are positive and helpful.

Almost everything is okay. I am not very dissatisfied.
Placements: At least 50–60% of students from the B.Tech AI/ML course get placed. As AI is one of the top courses nowadays, it will be helpful in the future. The college offers an average package of 3–4 LPA, with the lowest package being 2 LPA and the highest package reaching 72 LPA, which was likely from off-campus placement. Around 40–50% of students get internships from this course. The top companies include TCS, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, and others.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are average. The lab and equipment are good. The Wi-Fi sometimes works and sometimes does not. The lab computers function properly. Hostel facilities are also okay. Medical facilities are available, and good mess food. Sports and games are conducted at appropriate times.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They are strict but also help students when they are in need. They solve students' doubts and also ask students if they understand the topics or not. Feedback is also taken by the HOD from students to know if they have any issues with any faculty. Teachers guide and explain everything before running any code.
Other: I think AIML is best for me, as I also want to gain more knowledge in this course. I think sometimes workshops should be conducted to show how real-life problems can be easily solved by AI. Events and fests are also conducted every year to help students enjoy and refresh their minds.

Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is mediocre. The course is as relevant as one could expect from a private college. The semester exams are of more than medium difficulty. The pass percentage is around 70–80%, depending on the batch.
Other: I chose this course because it offers good technical learning. The best part of the course is the practical labs. The campus connectivity and placement support for all branches could improve. Events, fests, and extracurricular activities are good. The campus crowd is okay. The campus is clean, and scholarships are available.
