B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry - Batch of 2023

Not the college that you heard of from your elders.
Placements: If you want a placement with a decent salary go for other colleges, placement rate is very low in IEHE only 1-2 students of a batch gets placement that too on a maximum salary of 3LPA. Maximum placements are of BPO. Not many options for internship for B.Sc. Students.
Infrastructure: In computer lab only 30% pc are in working condition that too are very low spec PC's. For sport activities equipments are not available on time gym Badminton rackets and cricket bats are broken, gym is only opened for 1 hour that too on odd timings.
Faculty: Talking about the teachers in the institute there are some good teachers but some of them are very inexperienced and unprofessional. Some teachers try to bend the time table according to their household needs. The examination system is good, student needs 48% aggregate to pass the semester.

It has good studies, teachers, and everything except infrastructure and hygiene.
Placements: Our college provides only certain placements to certain courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good, and the hostel facility is poor. Every student who lives in the hostel is not satisfied with it. So I recommend not to take hostel facilities because students also complain about the food and the hygiene problem. The food served is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and interactive. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is vast. Exams are also good. Teachers are very strict about exams.
Other: I chose this course because I love studying biology. The best thing is you enjoy studying and get much of information about it.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty and good placements in 2020, but the infrastructure is not good.
Placements: On average, 75% of students got placed. The packages range from 1 to 5 LPA. Wipro, TCS, HP, Dell, BYJU's, and Rackit Bankiser are some recruiting companies. 86% of students got internships in Calicut University, popular private chemistry colleges in India etc. Analytical chemist, chemical engineer, environmental chemist, lecturer, etc., roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in the heart of the city. It provides transportation facilities. Library and information centre are available. A canteen, internet centre, good faculty, and well-equipped labs are available. Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls on the campus. A mess is available for hostels. Modern sports equipment is available. A sports ground is also available.
Faculty: Every teacher is well-experienced and very helpful. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are tough. The passing percentage is 75%.
Other: I chose this subject because it is very interesting and easy to understand. I am aware of chemicals in real life. Things like smart classes and lots of practicals should be conducted so that students get interested in this subject. Freshers, fests, social camps, NGO works and many more other programs are conducted.

If students are coming for study and learning purposes, then this college is best for them.
Placements: The percentage of a student placed are very low. Many companies are bound to sign bonds of 1 to 2 years, and that also for the packages of Rs 12,000 to Rs 16,000 maximum. If students are aspiring for getting good placements, then this college is not for them. In this college, there are placements cell that is responsible for placements. But this college is good for studying the specific subject in which students are pursuing an honors degree.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is of normal level. The facility in the library is very good. But Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are the same as schools not modern. The hostel rooms are very well furnished with bed, almirah, and table-chair. The sports complex is also there, but is open for a limited time. Every time the tender changes of canteen and mess, but it is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. But they stick to the syllabus of this college. This college is autonomous so here there is a semester system. For chemistry, the laboratories are good with all facilities and equipment. The practicals are regular and very good for learning purposes.

Our college has the best faculty members, infrastructure, and crowd.
Placements: As it is a science/arts/commerce college, placements percentages are low since covid, and the packages range between 1.5 LPA to 6.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Concentrix, Cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart, Nestle, Tech Mahindra, Atos, Timespro, Syntel, etc., are the top recruiters here. Internships will be on your performance-based, like BDA, accounts trainee, lab assistant, etc.
Infrastructure: There are new buildings constructed for all departments in 2020 with Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, individual libraries of departments, and the main library is also the best one. You'll get every book you want, be it related to your subject or nonfiction. Hostal quality is better than just good, mess canteen prices are not too high not too low, and medical facilities are also available. There are always sports competitions held at the college. All the sports like volleyball, table tennis, cricket, badminton, chess, carrom, and basketball are the ones I played.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely talented and helpful. They carve you into something good by their knowledge. They have designed the curriculum to flourish your knowledge and broaden up your perspective. Semester exams are quite hard if you don't study. Almost 97-99% of the students get passed in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I love chemistry and the lab experiments and knowledge gained in classrooms are the best about chemistry. I wish there should be a placement cell for each department, not just one big for the whole college. Chemfotech is our Annual fest which is one of the most famous fests of the college. There are a lot of activities in this fest. You'll get many scholarships if you're good at your studies like MMVY, Inspire 80k/annum, Post Metric, PWD, etc. It is an excellent college.

Our college is average, but it is the best option in Bhopal.
Placements: Placements in our college are really bad. Even one company relevant to our course didn't visit our college for placements. Some companies from other disciplines visited, but students did not join the job even after getting placed. The maximum salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Our course didn't include an internship.
Infrastructure: I did not stay at the hostel, so I don't know about it. Labs were average, but we didn't have enough instruments. There was a serious lack of practical teaching. Chemistry lab in our college was better than biotech labs. Food served in the canteen was also not good enough.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members in our college were good so that I would rate them 3 stars. The course curriculum was too lengthy, and there was a lot we did not need to study. The college provides more theoretical knowledge rather than practical knowledge. More focus should have been put on assignments.

A good college that provides you with great amount of knowledge and placements.
Placements: Many companies visit the college for placements. This year, companies like Nestle, Amazon, Infosys, etc., visited the campus. They offered good salary packages to us. The highest salary package offered to us was by Nestle which was around 6 lacs per annum at the starting of the job. But the percentage of students who get selected finally is less. Science students don't have to do any internships. There is a placement cell in college which is helpful.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped, and there are specific labs for specific subjects. There are a good number of books in the library. The laboratories have medical kits, and there is a good gaming area to play different games. Although, there are chances for improvement in the infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Different methods are used for teaching, like smartboards and projectors. There are a good number of teachers so that if a teacher couldn't be there, then other teachers can replace them. The faculty took us to different places for a better understanding of things.
Other: Tarang is the main fest of our college, and it is a 7-days event. Other than that, there are different cultural programmes for different departments.

Everything in the college is excellent, and the placements are too good.
Placements: Companies like Infosys and TCS visited the college to offer placements. A large number of the students get placed in the college. I was one of them, got selected in Infosys for business process outsourcing with a package of around 1 Lacs 60 thousand per annum. TCS offered KPO roles with a package of around 2 Lacs 40 thousand per annum.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms are available. Labs have good equipment. A sports complex is present for the overall development of students. Two canteens are available that provide varieties of food and snacks.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Their teaching methods are good that the students cannot forget the lecture. They are supportive to the weak students. The student to faculty ratio is limited to around 30:1. The course curriculum is prepared in such a way that a graduate from Excellence can crack UPSC exam.
