Institute of Aeronautical Engineering Admission Process 2026
Institute of Aeronautical Engineering admissions are entrance-based. Institute of Aeronautical Engineering offers courses at UG level in Engineering, Business and Management Studies and IT and Software stream. The institute offers B.E. / B.Tech for 3 years - 4 years in various specialisations. Candidates can fill out the application form online for admission.

| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit. |

It has good placements, modern infrastructure, supportive faculty, and an active campus life.
Placements: Around 90-91% students got placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest package is 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Zscaler, Justpay, and TCS. Around 70-80% students secured internships. Companies offering internships are Microsoft, Amazon, and TCS. Roles offered are Software Engineer and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: We have a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus, well-equipped laboratories, extensive computer centres, air-conditioned classrooms, a large central library, good mess food and canteen food. Basic treatment is provided. Good indoor and outdoor sports are available. Regular sports events and competitions are held.
Faculty: There is good conceptual teaching. We have supportive faculty. Digital teaching methods are available. Industry-focused subjects are provided. Labs and project-based learning are there. Coding and placement training are provided. Around 60-80% is the pass percentage in many courses. Students who attend classes regularly and prepare pass.
Other: We have good placements, coding culture and industry-relevant internships.

Good placements, supportive faculty, and modern infrastructure with a positive campus life.
Placements: Around 75% of students got placed with packages ranging from 4 - 5 LPA and an average of 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture. Many students also secured internships in software and IT roles. there are many more opportunities.
Infrastructure: The department has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, modern labs, and a well-maintained library. Hostel facilities are decent, food quality is satisfactory, and the college also provides medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality and practical guidance. The curriculum is relevant and helps students gain industry-oriented skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is generally good for regular students.

A review of my college IARE.
Placements: The placements are good in this college, and it's around 70% each year. The highest package achieved is 60 LPA at Microsoft, and the average salary package is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are like TCS, Cognizant, etc. Many students get internships and get placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good here, but it's far away from the college. We have to travel via bus every morning and evening, which they provide. The Wi-Fi facilities, food taste and quality are also better compared to other hostels, and there are a lot of sports facilities in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful in their respective subjects, and they are well-qualified and well knowledgeable in their fields. Most of the faculty are PhD holders. The course offered here is industry-relevant and up to date, and most of the students pass here by studying one day before the exam.

Placements: The placements in colleges are going well, around 60-70% of students get placed in the college placement drive, and most of them get decent packages. The highest package achieved is 60 LPA, and they give training since the first/second year for placements.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities are decent in departments, but sometimes it may *** but most of the time we get a decent Wi-Fi speed. The hostel is located 4-5 kilometres from the campus, but bus facilities are available for travelling. The hostel facilities are good, and the food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified and supportive for students' sake. The teaching quality is also very nice. The curriculum is relevant to the industry standards, and it makes the students industry-ready. Most of the students pass the exams by studying one day before the exams.

College has a small infrastructure, but it has very good placements and NCKF.
Placements: In terms of placement, the Institution of Aeronautical Engineering College is very good. Companies approach this college, and students get good campus placements and good packages. So, these are the things about the Institution of Aeronautical Engineering College.
Infrastructure: IARE is beside a small lake, so half of the campus is under the lake and the other half is good with teaching classrooms and computer labs, but students should not think about sports grounds in IARE. IARE provides their hostel at the MLRIT college campus hostel. IARE does not directly provide a hostel in their present location, but IARE provides buses for students from their hostel.
Faculty: There is a very good number of faculty in the college, and teaching is also very good. As this college is within the top 10th position, I felt good in terms of teaching from the faculty. In higher years, like the 3rd year or 4th year, there are very well-educated faculty for students.

Good infrastructure and placements, but the curriculum needs improvement.
Placements: The placement scenario in our batch was decent, with around 65–75% of students getting placed in different companies. The highest package offered is 12–15 LPA, while the lowest was approximately 3–3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 4–5 LPA only. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra hire for positions like Software Engineer, System Engineer, Analyst, Web Developer, and Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET).
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are decent, with proper security and cleanliness maintained well. The food quality in the mess is average to good, with a full variety of options. The campus also includes medical facilities, sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games, supporting students' development in the overall B.Tech program.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant but not fully industry-focused. It covers fundamentals, but students need to learn some additional skills like coding (DSA), projects, and new technologies on their own to get big placements. The pass percentage is high, around 85–90%, as internal marks also helped very much.
Other: The course could be improved by including more practical learning, not just theoretical knowledge. Updated technologies and industry training are needed much more. The college conducts events, fests, and workshops regularly. The campus surroundings are decent, with good nature connectivity. Scholarships are available for eligible students only (the TS government scholarship), and extracurricular activities are encouraged a little bit.

Hi, IIAE Dehradun is a private college and has a very typical structure that admits students based on the marks obtained in 12th class + telephonic interview. First two years of the course are conducted in Dehradun and last 2 years are conducted in a country abroad where the institute has a tie up.
