B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2023
1.0
I was very unfortunate that I joined this college only to get everything ruined.
Placements: It is a pathetic college. No placements happen over here and the quality of faculty is very poor. There are no opportunities to grow in this college. Hardly any one is taking admission in this college. They have put fake placement records but reality is that no company visits this college .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent but the quality of food is very poor compared to what they are charging. They charge INR 70000 per year approximately and the thing is that during covid when there were no students living in hostel even then they charged hostel fees.
Faculty: The teachers are very bad over here. They just keep reading things without explaining anything. They, I guess, do not even have good degrees to be teachers but still they are. The examinations are conducted by Bikaner technical which is not able to conduct exams on schedule .

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with the facilities.
Placements: The college has a good placement record and many reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment but only 30% to 40 % of students were placed last year in B.Tech. In which the highest package was INR 9.5 LPA in Infosys for power programmer role. Wipro, IBM, reliance, etc. companies visit the college for recruitment. 7% to 10% of students got internships in local companies and the top role offered in my course was power programmer from Infosys.
Infrastructure: My college has a modern and well-equipped infrastructure that includes labs, libraries, and classrooms with projects and other audio-visual equipment. But hostel facilities are not good as the food quality is not good and issues with the cleanliness of the hostel and environment. Other things like medical facilities, sports, and games are just decent not even good and you have to cooperate with them.
Faculty: First of all the faculty-student ratio is not optimal which is affecting the quality of teaching. The teachers are qualified but not knowledgeable. Yes, no issue with the course curriculum. Yes, it has the potential to make students industry ready. Difficulty level of semester exams is not too hard, any serious student is easily able to get good marks. So the average percentage of passing students is 60% to 70%.

Review of Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: 18 students got placed in different sectors, and the highest package offered was 45,000 per month. Mostly, CS, IT and Diploma students got the jobs. The top roles offered were the software engineer in a multilevel company, and internships were offered by various other companies.
Infrastructure: We have sufficient labs, but the equipment doesn't work sometimes. A good library is available. I was not a hosteler, but the facilities provided were average. Everyone disliked the food. We have sports tournaments every year, but we have to play after the classes.
Faculty: The teachers are very good. They are knowledgeable in this field. They are better than most of the colleges in Alwar. Relevant topics are mostly preferred, but I don't think the curriculum makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose it because it was trending at the time of my admission.

It is a good college with good placements records, teachers and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: It is a quite good college regarding placement. In this college EE, EC, ME and CS students were placed in their respective companies. In EE, 50% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Jio company has visited our college for an internship. Almost 40-50% are placed. One of the students got the highest salary package offered of 13 LPA, and he was our senior. Relcom Technologies came to our college for placements. It was a very good telecom company.
Infrastructure: Our college provides very good facilities for students, especially for those who live in hostel free Wi-Fi available for students. Sports kit is available for students, and a very good and beautiful playground is available. A practical lab is available. There is a good library where books can be issued for 15 days, and many standard books are available. Classrooms are good, and many of the classes consist of the projector. The college has two canteens in which you can find many things samosa, chaumin, etc., and many delicious fast foods. The medical facility is also available in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good, well-qualified and some of the faculty members did their M.Tech from NIT colleges. They spend time with students on solving the problems. I am thankful to all faculty members who helped me out for building the basic concepts. The teaching quality is good, and they behave friendly with students. I am pursuing my B. Tech in electrical engineering branch, and the faculty of our department is excellent. They are always ready to make a bond with students. Faculty help is getting 80-90% results in university exams.

The campus and infrastructure are the best, but the quality of food in the mess is average.
Placements: Our college has a good placement cell. My seniors got placed in reputed companies with highest packages. The average package offered by the companies is approximately 5 LPA, and the highest package offered is around 30 LPA. Around 80% of the students got placed. The highest stipend offered during internships is Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The whole campus is enabled with high-speed Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well maintained and updated with smart class facilities. Labs are good for practice. The only issue is the lack of air-conditioned classrooms during the summer season. Overall, the college is good.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified, and they are M.Tech degree holders. Their teaching quality is good. They provide more knowledge. The faculty members are helpful and cooperative with the students. All the faculty members clear the students' doubts carefully. They are frank with the students.
Other: Everything is good. All the events like annual fest, traditional fest, etc., are organised in the college.

Good infrastructure and facilities, but low number of placements and bad crowd.
Placements: Placement record for the CS branch is good, but the other branches might suffer a lack of placements some time. The salary packages offered are dissatisfying, and we all know the situation of jobs. The highest package offered in our batch was 8 LPA for a CS branch student, and the average package offered for the whole 2018 batch was 3 LPA which was okay.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and it is the first private college in Rajasthan. Every branch has its own block. The labs and classrooms are well-furnished, and the college organises extracurricular activities from time to time. Sports facilities are also good. The college has a football ground, tennis, basketball, and badminton courts separately. Volleyball and kabaddi grounds are also available.
Faculty: The number of well-qualified teachers was low. Some teachers were teaching in the college alongside pursuing their master's degree. There were issues between the management and teachers. Attendance criterion was not implemented, so studies did not happen regularly. Basically, the faculty members avoid putting in efforts to teach students.
Other: The college conducted some amazing events including Mr Kumar Vishwas and singer Mankirt Aulakh's performance. The level of practical knowledge given to us was good. The college is 10 kilometres away from the city, and it provides a bus facility. But the most important fact is that the campus crowd has a low sense of respect and has behavioural issues towards girls.

It is a good engineering college.
Placements: My branch was started in 2005, and students of the 2005 batch got placed in good MNCs with the help of the placement officer, Bhumika Sharma. IET stands as the best private college in Rajasthan. The highest placement percentage is around 30%, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Birlasoft, Indian Army, and Navy visited the campus to offer placements.
Infrastructure: All the labs in IET are well-equipped and furnished. All the technical equipment is present, especially in mechanical, IT and computer branches. Quality of food is good, especially Kheerpoori that is offered on Tuesday, and Chole Bahtoore offered on Wednesday. All the hostels are very good and ventilated. I liked most of the NBH hostels.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, quailed and knowledgeable. All the teachers are M.Tech qualified and well experienced. All teachers have got very good teaching skills and are able to solve all our doubts. They are also always available to clarify the doubts of students.

A standard college for Engineering!
Placements: Placement for mechanical engineering is not good in the college. None of the core mechanical company ever entered the campus during 2012-16. If we speak about other branches then CS/IT and even EC branch has got good opportunity for placement. But Placement ratio of Electrical and Mechanical is poor.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is normal. Classrooms and labs are okay. Mechanical labs has almost all of the machinery which is helpful in the course. All the department (branches) has there own building. Medical facilities are good. There are many events to promote sports in the college. There is a cricket/football ground and a basketball/tennis/badminton court in the campus and some indoor games. There is a Gym both for boys & girls separately. There is a small canteen in the campus which is good but nothing special. Hostel rooms are good to normal but contains all the useful facilities.
Faculty: Around 2012 there were some big names in faculty for Mechanical engineering. They were well qualified, knowledgeable, experienced in there field. Some of them were helpful for students to set their goals by sharing there experience of industry and different fields. There were discussion in classrooms on the topics. But around 2015-16 all of them leave the college due to different reasons.
Other: Students have full support for events from college and they get all the support/facilities required to organise an event. Some of the events organise yearly are Annual function (contains all the fields), gusto (for sports and games), iota (for Science seminar, project display etc.). .
