It is an average college and doesn't have very good facilities.

Placements: Only retail companies visit our college for placements, and they are not worth it. Less hotels visit this college for placements, so you cannot consider this college for good placements. All other things are also not very up to the mark. I have seen 3 batches during my tenure, and all students of those batches got placed in retail companies only.

Infrastructure: There are not even basic facilities for students. So, if you think that you can enjoy in this college, it is not true. You won't be able to enjoy your college life here. The rules are very strict for students.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good and helpful. They are well educated and also have experience in the industry. They help students in every aspect of their college life. The principal also sometimes conducts special classes or sessions for students. He is very strict.

I am satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 9,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Radisson Blu, Devyani & Co and Burger King, Adani Fortune and Plaza Premium Port visit our campus for placements. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship in 5-star hotels.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like practical labs, classrooms and a library. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is available on different days. The mess in the college is very large, which accommodate about 200 students to sit and eat their meal at a time. You can play football and cricket in the college ground, but you need to carry the kits.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were helpful in studies and knowledgeable. They are M.Sc qualified. The chef in the college knows all cuisine like Indian, Italian, Chinese and other cuisines also. Front Office sir has a great personality, and he is very good in hospitality software. Food and beverage service sir has a helping and smiling nature. Housekeeping madam and sir both have great knowledge of the department. The course curriculum is relevant.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have helping nature, and I like cooking and creativity. Our college conducts different competitions like sports day, rangoli, debate, etc.

Good Option one can look for.

Placements: I passed out in 2017. About 60 % of the students got placed with an average package of 2 to 2.5 lac. Among top recruiting companies were Haytt, Radisson Blu, Adani Wilmar Haldiram etc. Most of the roles offered to the students were Associates or Management trainees.

Infrastructure: With lush green environment located on the outskirt of the cities. This college offers a wide range of facilities be it AC Library, AC classes and Whole Campus is wi-fi enabled. Locker facilities are provided to the students in hostel as well as in College.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members be it Food Production, Front Office, Bakery, Food & Beverage Services are well experienced and have induatry knowledge. Faculty members are supportive and are a good guide who is aiming for good career in the hospitality sector. Overall good faculty members.

Other: Events are organized on regular basis. With workshops for F & B to give practical knowledge to students. Sports day and Annual Day always are the best events to enjoy.

Overall a good government college to take admission.

Placements: Placements in IHM Rohtak is average. One has to try for off the campus placement also. I also got my internship by myself as it was not arranged by college. In terms of placement average package was 2 lac. The highest package was 3 lac. Top recruiting companies were Hyatt, Haldiram, Radisson Blu etc. They also provide Off-Campus opportunity with companies like Oberoi, Itc, Westin etc. About 50 percent of the students got placed. After joining the course one can expect a job with a role of associate in company.

Infrastructure: Campus of IHM Rohtak is Wi-Fi enabled. Locker facilities are also provided to students. During Lunch time food is provided to all. Classrooms, Practical labs and library are fully AC. Hostel is well-equipped with all the necessary facilities with secruity 24*7.

Faculty: Faculty are well qualified and have industry experience. Teaching quality is quite good. Faculty is very helpful in guiding students throughout the course in deciding specialisation and providing updated industry knowledge which is beneficial in practical terms. Overall faculty is excellent.

Other: Most of the crowd is from Delhi-Ncr Region. Various events like Hunar se Rozgar is arranged for localheights. Regular workshops are arranged in different domains to improve practical knowledge of students. College is easily accessible as it is located on NH 10.

According to me, my college campus is absolutely perfect.

Placements: The placements in our college are increasing every year. During my tenure, some of my friends joined Accor Group (Novotel), and many joined Taj, as well as Oberoi. Many reputed companies visited our college. Novotel offered a package of Rs. 15,000. For internships, several reputed hotels visited our campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very beautifully designed. We have well-ventilated and furnished classes and practical classes along with equipment. We also have a beautiful canteen that is run by our diploma students every year. We also have a table tennis court in our campus.

Faculty: The faculty play a very crucial role in every campus. They are the heart of the campus. Our faculty are very friendly to us. They solve our personal, as well as academic issues. They are always ready to help their students in every situation.

Other: Every campus has many events. I love freshers the most. Annual function, sports day are also conducted, and the most important fest that I will never forget is the hostel party.
