It has great placements, and I am proud to be a student of this college.
Placements: Many companies from every field offer placements in our college. For biotechnology course, companies like Lupin, Biocon, Deloitte, Sun Pharma, etc., offer jobs for students. Students are eligible for placements from their final year. Career development cell and personality development classes of our college start from the last 2nd year to prepare students to give their best performance in campus selection. The salary package starts from 45,000 to 1.5 Lacs. The college is very supportive of students in placements.
Infrastructure: The college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like library, sports, the best and qualified faculty, financial assistance etc. Laboratories like biology, physics, chemistry and computer laboratories are available for students. A huge library is available with books related to the syllabus, journals, science research papers and novels. The classrooms have projectors and smart classes in every classroom and lab. Wi-Fi is available, and all the infrastructure is well maintained. The canteen and places are hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable of the subjects. The teaching quality is good. This curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that tough. The passing percentage is about 80%, which is good as other colleges. This is the best college.
Other: I chose this course for the best job opportunities in the future. The best thing about this course is it is easier than other courses and is relevant. There is nothing to improve, and I think it is good. Events are organised at every festival, and the campus crowd is much familiar and well-behaved. Scholarships are given as the government's order.

Absolutely satisfied because of great internship opportunities in 2020.
Placements: In 2020 about half of the students were placed in the reputed companies like Bajaj, Deloitte, HDFC, NBFC for both marketing as well as financial management sector. For internship almost more than half of the students got an internship in Times, Bajaj, ITC, Reliance and many more. They have offered various job roles in customer relationship, business development, customer behavior, digital marketing etc.
Infrastructure: Though it is government college you can't except that it would have great infrastructure. But the environment that IMS gives for study doesn't make you bother about the infrastructure. There is a common canteen for all the department. A good thing is that the food is affordable and hygienic. Sports events are organised both at inter as well as intra level.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very helpful like placement in charge. There are a lot of extracurricular activities that you can explore too. The syllabus given to the students are sufficient and relevant. But one thing I miss in the college is there is a lack of technology. Teachers are well educated and industry expert gives you their experience of real time working of industry.
Other: MBA (MM) is one of the best course of IMS it gives the highest no of placement percentage rather than any other course. If you decide to do MBA I will suggest you to choose marketing management.

The college provides a platform for students to develop themselves.
Placements: Placements in college were as per the specifications in the particular field. There were consecutive placements as the number of students was high. The highest salary package offered was 12-14 lacs per annum, the lowest was 2-3 LPA, while the average was 1.50-2 LPA. Most of the students got selected in the campus placements, and the placements are helpful as they are provided as per the efficiency of students.
Infrastructure: There were many facilities provided to students like medical facilities, sports, games, playgrounds, library, lab, etc. Apart from that, there were many classrooms which were suitable for students. The canteen was neat and clean, and the quality of food served was awesome, but the quantity was not as per the quota. There was also a dhaba situated at the campus which served much more tasty food as students desired.
Faculty: The number of teachers was high. The faculty members were highly professional along with being well-qualified and experienced in their respective fields. The system was autonomous. The subjects taught by them were good and recommended to all. The course curriculum provided by DAVV was unique and authentic. Projects are provided to students as per their specialisations.
Other: An annual function was conducted every year. There were different games every year. When I was there for 2 years, most of the games were autonomous and unique along with some learning aspects.

A review of Institute of Management Studies-DAVV, Indore.
Placements: Placements provided in the college are good. The average package offered was around 5 LPA. The placement coordinators are helpful to students. The highest package offered was around 10 LPA. Almost 90% of the students of our senior batch got placed through college placements. Around 80% to 90% of the students got internships from the college. Internships are useful for students to get placements. The lowest stipend offered was above Rs. 5,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college was established in 1969. As it is one of the oldest colleges in central India, the infrastructure is not so modern. But faculty members in our college are well-experienced. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the college, and there are CCTV cameras in classrooms. Both library and central library are available in the college. Medical and sports facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well-educated and experienced. The teaching quality is good because of the experienced teachers. The industry exposure provided in the college is average, and lots of events are organised by our college. Students gain practical knowledge, management skills, and groom themselves because of these events.

Absolutely satisfied with curriculum faculty members and of course with Placements.
Placements: From placement point of view IMS is very good for Finance, Marketing and Hospital Administration. For e-commerce and HR its quite selective. Deloitte visits campus for finance students and for marketing Deloitte visits for Knowledge Management profile. Apart from these there are other leading companies too which visits not only for recruitment but also for internship programme like Reliance Retail, ITC, NJ India Invest Pvt Ltd, Axis, HDFC, Bajaj Finserv and a lot more to count. There are almost 100% placements. Average salary offered is about 4-5 Lacs initial which is quite satisfactory. Even also 90-100% students get internship from college only. There is very well coordinated placement cell too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and Library facilities are very appreciative. Sports and Games facilities are not very appreciative. Classrooms are well furnished with projector and CCTV surveillance. University hostels are available with LAN facilities for each room. Food in hostel is very satisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members are no doubt very supportive as well as highly knowledgeable. There is no spoon feeding but instead topics are explained by giving live examples and case studies. Presentation sessions are also organised by faculty members for students to enhance their presentation skills which is very much essential for corporates. Curriculum is decided very carefully department wise and it's very useful.
Other: Extra curricular activities like Hyurisko, Spandan, Brand Bazaar are being conducted. Scholarship is also provided to students yearly. Campus crowd is very good and surrounding is also very safe for students including girls.
