To encourage and help meritorious students pursue their study, various scholarship schemes and financial aids are offered by the Institute.
Merit Scholarship: The scholarship is given on the basis of merit.
Top 5 students: Rs. 1,00,000/- each P.A.
Next 20 students: Rs. 90,000/- each P.A.
Next 25 students: Rs. 50,000/- each P.A.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship:
Top 25 students (Annual income upto Rs.2.5 lakhs): Rs. 90,000/- each P.A.
Next 25 students (Annual income upto Rs.4.0 lakhs): Rs. 50,000/- each P.A.
Next 25 students (Annual income upto Rs.6.0 lakhs): Rs. 25,000/- each P.A.
Earn While You Learn:
This scheme helps meritorious and needy students earn some monthly sustenance money. Students, who do not receive any financial benefits from the university or government and have annual family income not more than Rs. 10 lakhs per annum are eligible to apply in the scheme.
The eligibility/conditions, number of beneficiaries, and amount are as per the norms prescribed by the University. The selected students have to put in a maximum of 10 hours/week work in an assigned section of the University.
As per my information the per semester tuition fees for the same would be somewhere above 1.2 lakhs. There would be some other fee details like, examination fees or some deposits which would add up in this amount. For exact fee structure, one can browse on the website. Facility of scholarships is also available for students who qualified GATE exam and for Non-Gate students as well, based on their merit.

Category – II (Merit cum Means)
Two different merit lists are prepared and the number of scholarships are distributed proportionately to each category. The merit list is as under:
- The list of the students admitted on the basis of the merit of JEE only, which is 35%
- Another merit list is prepared on the basis of merit of the students admitted through ACPC
Yes, there are a number of undergraduate scholarship programmes available through the Institute of Technology at Nirma University. These are a some of the scholarships that are offered:
- Merit Scholarship Nirma: Top 5 students receive Rs.1,000,000 annually each. Subsequent 20 pupils: Rs.90,000 year each. Next 25 pupils: Rs.50,000 year each.
- Scholarship Based on Merit-Cum-Means: The top 25 pupils, whose parents make up to Rs.2.5 LPA, receive Rs.90,000 annually apiece. The following 25 pupils whose parents earn up to Rs.4.0 LPA: Rs.50,000 annually each. An additional twenty-five kids, whose parents earn up to Rs.6.0 LPA (Rs.25,000 annually).
These scholarships are contingent upon the student meeting the requirements and holding a merit position, among other things.
