IMI Noida Admission Overview 2025
All the pre-sea courses offered by IMI are duly approved by the Directorate General of Shipping. The BTech course is additionally recognised by the AICTE and affiliated to Indian Maritime University. Admission to all pre-sea courses is based on a candidate's performance in the respective entrance examination. Candidates must also meet the age criteria and medical requirements laid down by the Institute. IMI has a panel of qualified doctors and professional laboratories specialising in Merchant Navy regulations and requirements as per ILO Convention 147 Seafarer’s Medical Examination. All candidates need to pass a complete medical examination and mandatory tests before joining.

International Maritime Institute (IMI) provides internationally recognized maritime course such as DNS, BTech Marine Engineering, GME and ETO with admission criteria on basis of academic performance, age and medical fitness. DNS program needs Class 12 or BSc with 60% in PCM and English, and the OPEN-NET exam of IMU.
