 IMU-CET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test) entrance exam scores are accepted by HIMT College (Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training) for admission. It is a national-level common entrance test for admission to various courses offered at IMU campuses conducted by Indian Maritime University. The candidates who clear the entrance exam are called for their psychometric test, medical examination followed by panel interview and pre-sea training. The primary eligibility requirements for admissions to BSc courses at HIMT Chennai are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the admission process, the college accepts valid IMU CET scores.
