ISDI Mumbai: Courses, Fees, Admission 2025, Placements, Cutoff

ISDI - School of Design and Innovation does not release official cutoffs for admission to their undergraduate and postgraduate design courses. But do check out college page for the same. Admission is based on performance in the ISDI Challenge exam followed by an interview round. The ISDI Challenge comprises: Portfolio/Design Project Design Aptitude Test (DAT) Personal Interview Candidates are given admission based on their overall performance in these stages. There are no hard cutoffs but higher scores improve the chances of admission. The key points regarding ISDI admission cutoffs are: Undergraduate Diploma Programs Admission is primarily based on merit in Class 12. Students with higher Class 12 marks have an edge. Eligible candidates are shortlisted based on their Class 12 score and called for the ISDI Challenge. Admission is granted based on performance in the ISDI Challenge and interview round.

The first preparation tip for the campus recruitment drive is building a well-structured resume that speaks out the capabilities of the candidates. Thereafter, the students should first research the company for which they are willing to appear for an interview. The general criteria of selection are GD or mock tests. For this round, students can stay updated with the latest media pieces. There are various online mock interview tools that can be practiced. Communication is the key to selection. Students are advised to focus on their pronunciation and speech.

ISDI - School of Design and Innovation doesn't have a minimum cutoff for B.Des. However, in the past, candidates who have secured admission for B.Des programs have had the following: 

••Class 12 percentage above 80%

••DAT score above 75%

••Good portfolio/project work

••Strong interview performance

ISDI considers the combined score from the ISDI Challenge to grant admission. The cutoff marks required for B.Des are: 

Step A: Upload your Portfolio or Complete the Design Project (100 marks, 40% weightage)

Step B: Online Design Aptitude Test (100 marks, 40%)

To be eligible to apply to ISDI, candidates must: 

Be currently in the 12th grade

Be appearing for a 10 + 2 examination

Have an interest in Design & Innovation

The total tuition fees for the B.Des programme at ISDI Mumbai is INR 24.28 Lakh. The duration of the programme is 4 years. 

XAT 2026 registration process began from July 10, 2025. Official announcement of commencement of XAT registration process 2026 has been made by XLRI at its website. Interested candidates have to register for XAT 2026 by creating a login ID at xatonline.in website. The XAT application fee will be INR 2200. Candidates will have to pay the fee to submit the XAT application form.
