B.Sc. in Psychology - Batch of 2027
4.2
Preety decent and average.
Placements: 80% students placed almost everyone gets internship. You can further persue masters in clinical, neuro, councelling psychology etc. Not all students take up the placement as they they want to persue masters.. the college offers masters in clinical and neuro psychology.
Infrastructure: Its a fully air conditioned campus. How everything WiFi isn't available. Library, canteen is good. Labs are well equipped. Not a very big campus though. Hostel facility in also available. However I won't recommend that. As it is a bit far from the college.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and helpful exams are semester wise The curriculum is as per UGC guidelines. You need 40 credits to pass the semester exams. A minimal of 7 sgpa is required to continue in the 4 th year for an honours degree. Really good for psychology.

Better than Christ in some ways.
Placements: It is rather hard to find placements after a B.Sc. course. An M.Sc. is a must to find placements, so don't hold out hope for that. However, the college will help you find internships and will give you breaks to attend them, so that is something nice about it.
Infrastructure: I don't live in the hostel, but from what I have heard, the hostel is really good, even though it's not within the campus premises. The classrooms and labs are well maintained; the only issue is that the building in which they are accommodated is kind of small.
Faculty: The faculty could be better, no doubt. All the young teachers lack real-world experience, but they are knowledgeable and ready to help. The curriculum is very simple and practical; it could be a little tougher. The pass percentage is 33 percent, and the semester exams are kind of hard.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in psychology. There are many fests here, both cultural and academic.

Our college is not good for this course.
Placements: We are told to find internships for a month with more working hours than psychologists.
Faculty: Our teachers have no idea what they teach. They just added abnormal psychology to the course for our juniors when our professor noticed we did not have it. Our batch and the previous batch never studied the most popular psychology field because they kept adding courses with no idea what the courses were about. You need to become an entrepreneur. They will focus more on business studies because they want to tell students that many entrepreneurs are passing out of this college. We have a subject called PCL for all courses. If you are lucky, their system will assign you a random professor to guide you through, but if you are not, just run behind any professor who can give any updates on the posters you have to present. Our course was rushed, and the semester ended in one and a half months. The rest is for internships, so we must find enough attendance for exams.
Other: It is better to join some other college.

Absolutely disappointed. Can't think of a worse place to pursue one's dream career.
Placements: We are not yet aware about the placement situation here since our seniors are currently in last sem and they were the first batch in this course of this college. But we were promised recommendation letters from the previous director whenever we'll require it to apply for a job anywhere.
Infrastructure: No comments on the hostel facility here. It's too far from the campus and is extra strict for a college student and is extra pricy. The infrastructure of our course is worse as very few important topics are taught that are essential for a major in psychology.
Faculty: Too many exams are conducted. Too many assignments are given. It is extremely hectic. Professors aren't permanent. All the good professors keep resigning due to the tyranny of the director. It's just worthless. No holidays are given after sem exams. If given, it's barely a week long. Its exhausting to complete one sem in 4 months and not have holidays after the sem exams and the numerous assignments.
Other: I wish we had a campus. It's literally just a small building built in between numerous tech parks. And the entire college's strength isn't more than 500 students. Like even our schools had better crowd and infrastructure.

College life here is average.
Placements: Our campus is new. Many of our seniors are yet to be placed. Many top hospitals in Bangalore offer internships, placements, and medical practice opportunities. Every student has to do an internship for a year.
Infrastructure: The campus is very compact in area, with a 5-floor building, and 4th and 5th floors are under construction. The canteen is not very good. The auditorium is not available. Classrooms don't have fans and windows but have air-conditioners which are harmful to health.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, qualified, and experienced. The course curriculum provides more theory and less practical knowledge. Semester exams are not tough if prepared well. The pass percentage is above 40%.
Other: Not many cultural and sports programs are conducted because there is no ground or auditorium. The canteen is half constructed and hardly serves 7 to 8 dishes. This college is not the right place to enjoy college life, but it is good for studious students.

Overall, pay a visit to the campus and then deciding would help.
Placements: The course is good but it is not well organised. The teachers are great. They are helpful and have personal time for us at the same time, we don't have a clear idea about internships and recruiting companies. There is no proper schedule and semester breaks. M.Sc. students get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite cool but very small for a university. It is a newly built college and just starting to settle. There is no sports ground for the college but sports activities are conducted once in a while. Teachers are supportive and the students are doing good. There are clubs and teams working on campus. The canteen is good.
Faculty: Sometimes, the exams are too messy and getting settled takes time. The pass percentage is quite easy. It's 60% and attendance is also counted. There are numerous guest lectures that are organised for us.
Other: Events and fests are conducted frequently. Our college is supportive of all the extracurricular activities.

Good infrastructure, good course, good exposure, poor faculty, and horrible management.
Placements: The college is new so the courses are still not running for the final year. Placements have not started but the university apparently has a placement cell. British Council and United Nations are said to have tie-ups with the college but no concrete information yet. Students take internship opportunities from personal sources and the college does not provide internships as of now.
Infrastructure: The building is upscale, although a couple of top floors are still under construction. The campus is centrally air-conditioned. Some of the classes have glass walls to overlook the exterior of the campus. Other classes also have windows but are a bit less. All classes have projectors and a canteen is just opened. Labs are available but the college is slightly understaffed so they are mostly empty. Wi-Fi is available for the faculty only. The library is small and not so good. The college does not provide a hostel facility but has tie-ups with PGs on campus, which are not so great but other better PGs and apartments are available at affordable prices with great food and amenities. The campus is a single building and does not have any event ground.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in our college are very helpful, smart, educated, and empathetic but most are very young and inexperienced. Many cannot teach well. The course provided by the college is very up to date and very informative, much better than other colleges. Semester exams are tough but are conducted for 50 marks in 3 hours duration. So there is plenty of time to think and write. Pass percentage is around 85%.
Other: Psychology is a very modern course that is going to skyrocket in the coming years due to exploding demand. The course provided by the college is very rare, yet very good. Practicals need to be increased in the course as psychology is a practical subject. Seminars and workshops keep happening. A lot of clubs are available. The crowd has a big fraction of international students. Whitefield is on the outskirts of Bangalore yet connectivity is good and won't be a problem. The campus is in ITPL which is a tech hub, so it is a good environment. There is no scholarship news yet. Project-centered learning is a subject in itself to boost entrepreneurial mindset hence the course is very good.

Our college is not worth the money paid.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for our course.
Infrastructure: There is no ventilation in our college. Our college does not provide electricity. Washrooms are not good.
Faculty: There is no course structure. Our college focuses less on biology. This course is more of a medical course than a psychology course.

The fees structure at School of Allied Healthcare and Sciences for B.Sc (Hons) in Psychology as mentioned every year is around 1.9 lac, but it will be more clear if you just visit their office and query about the fees structure, you will be able to get the division of the fees.
