JBIMS A dream college for many.
Placements: JBIMS M.Sc. Finance offers 100% placements. The highest package was around 28 Lacs per annum, and the average package was 21 Lacs per annum. Roles offered were Wealth Management, Credit Analyst, Financial Management, Investment Banking, Business Analyst, and Digital Transformation.
Infrastructure: JBIMS is one of the oldest management colleges. The infrastructure is average, but it does offer various facilities like a library, canteen, AC classrooms, and Wi-Fi is available in every classroom. Hostel accommodation for boys is limited and based on merit. Girls usually get a hostel.
Faculty: JBIMS faculty members are known for their industry experience. Most of them are guest faculty members who are industry leaders in their respective domains. Most of them are alumni of JBIMS or IIMs. They do share various case studies and real-life scenarios, which helps students get insights into industry requirements.

Campus life and placements here are fantastic.
Placements: From our batch, 100% of students got placed. At least 70% of them got placed in big and renowned companies such as Brain, IIFL, PwC, KPMG, Tata Capital, RBS, BYJU's, etc., that visited the institute to recruit the students. The highest salary offered was 32 LPA, and the average package was 19 LPA. A majority of students got placed in the management, consulting, analytics, engineering, IT services and BFSI sectors.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure of JBIMS is good, with amazing vintage architecture. It is one of the oldest yet well-maintained infrastructures. The institute provides several facilities to us, such as AC and well-furnished classrooms with projectors, seamless Wi-Fi accessibility, a huge library with an enormous collection of 40,000+ books, publications, periodicals, and materials. JBIMS doesn't have a hostel of its own, so I rented a PG in the nearby locality. I used to travel 20-25 minutes daily from my PG to the campus. I found the PG located at a bit far, but it was good on the living part.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they motive and foster the students to be industry-ready and grab the job offers in top recruiting companies during placements. The two-year program is divided into 4 semesters, and there's a set core course in each semester. Students are focused more on electives, seminars, and projects during their 2nd and 3rd semesters. Dissertation must be completed in the final semester. Therefore, the syllabus is very diverse with a combination of core courses, seminars and practicals along with summer projects and dessertation.

The return on investment in this college is great.
Placements: JBIMS is a very well-known institute for its decent reputation of campus placements. Top recruiters such as Brain, IIFL, PwC, KPMG, Tata Capital, RBS, BYJU's, to name a few, visit the institute to recruit the students. The institute has an impressive record of 100% placement guarantee to students across their finance programs. The highest salary was 32 LPA, and the average was 18.91 LPA. A majority of students got placed under the management, consulting, analytics, engineering and IT services and BFSI sector.
Infrastructure: Some of the facilities include well-ventilated and air-conditioned classrooms, recreational areas, indoor and outdoor games, a well-stocked library, seamless Wi-Fi connectivity, medical facilities etc. The hostels are well-maintained and managed by the hostel committee members. The rooms are daily cleaned and maintained properly by the housekeepers. The hostel rooms have twin sharing bedrooms, water heaters, bookshelves, and attached bathrooms. The canteen offers a variety of food options to students. Every week, the menu gets updated as per students' cravings.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and motivate us to be industry-ready and grab the job offers in top recruiting companies during placements. The two-year program is divided into 4 semesters, and there's a set core course in each semester. Students are focused more on electives, seminars, and projects during their 2nd and 3rd semesters, and the dissertation must be completed in the final semester.

Placements are good and will improve going ahead.
Placements: Placements in the college were very good for our batch because at that time the new course received momentum. The highest package offered in on-campus placements was 21 LPA. Roles across global banking, retail banking, corporate finance, and analysis were offered to students. Every student gets an internship from the college.
Infrastructure: The library is well-equipped, and the college has a good infrastructure and Wi-Fi zone. The college canteen is well-maintained and serves good budget-friendly food. Most of the classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. Hostel facility is very affordable and in close proximity to the college.
Faculty: The faculty members are of top-notch. Most of them are experts in their fields with doctorates. We also have visiting faculty members who are currently working in the industry or have retired. Industry exposure is maintained through various guest lectures. The course curriculum is presently good. However, it has a lot of scope for improvisation.
Other: We get a lot of exposure through case studies, events conducted in the college, and an annual finance conclave which adds to the learnings.

The best management college in the city.
Placements: Until the end of the placements, all the students placed in finance-related roles with an average package of 10 lakhs per annum. The companies like Goldman Sachs, ICICI Bank, HDFC, AMC, Indus valley partners, RBI Bank came for the placements to the college. The process was the pre-placement talk followed by the application selection group discussion and then shortlisting the students for personal interviews.
Infrastructure: It does not have a big campus, but the classrooms and the washrooms are built in a modern way. The classrooms are provided with air-conditioners, projectors, etc. The canteen provides the amazing food, and all the varieties of food are available in it. The classrooms are well-equipped to handle at least 100 students at one time, with the microphones and the speakers for the professors.
Faculty: The course is well-covered with all the finance topics. The faculty from the industry giving theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the students. We had the subjects like financial management, technical analysis, fixed income, econometrics, financial markets, statistics, economics, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, regulatory environment, corporate finance, etc.

Fully satisfied with the campus and good placement in 2021.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 35.75 lakhs per annum, the average package is 21.36 lakhs per annum and the lowest is 14 lakhs per annum. Accenture, Adani, Cisco, Deloitte, etc. are the top recruiting companies for my course. About 50% people got internship from my course in Cisco, Accenture, Asian paints, Reliance, etc. Wealth management, credit analytics, and management consulting are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities, like a cafeteria, classroom, computer labs, science labs, library, digital library, etc., provided in my department. My hostel has high-speed Wi-Fi, 24-hour water supply, attached bathroom, etc. And the quality of the mess and canteen is good; medical facilities are provided to every block in the hostel. There are so many equipment for sports like stadium for cricket, football, tennis, kho-kho, badminton, kabaddi, shot-put, etc. and indoor games like chess, carrom, etc.
Faculty: Yes! The teachers are very helpful to us and they are skilled and knowledgeable. They explain very clearly. Yes! The topics are relevant to the course. It depends on the interest shown by the students in whether they are ready for industry or not. An average student should be passed out and a good student will get good marks and the pass percentage of my course is 80%.
Other: I am interested in the course M.Sc. (finance), so I chose the course. The best thing in my course is to gain a competitive edge. The subject is very tough. The annual fest conducted in my college is MS the Catalyst Forum' in the month of February every year. At that time, the campus crowd was high at the college. About 100,000 rupees in scholarships are provided to every student. The surroundings of my campus are filled with varieties of trees, which make the campus very beautiful.

It gives excellent type of food which are good for our health. Games like football, volleyball, basketball and many more are there.

Satisfaction in terms of placements, faculty, infrastructure and facilities can be improved.
Placements: There are excellent placements with a varied set of profiles and companies. Preferences take into account to an extent they could give people the role of their choice. Several companies visit the campus. There is a placement committee which works for the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great to its peers, but the facilities are enough for you to figure your way out. More facilities are to include in college. There are a variety of food items in the canteen, and there are spacious classrooms. The only issue is the chairs in the class are not that comfortable to sit.
Faculty: The teachers are the best part of the B-School, comes from various industries. Faculty provide great insights to students and also help them to understand the requirements of the market and application of the knowledge. The course curriculum designed by industry professionals meets the proper standards.

Yes, you can take admission in this course but you must have 50% in your UG and have mathematics in your higher secondary. I hope it will work.

You can't apply because the candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience (supervisor or executive level). The experience should be full-time experience and not include internships, projects, etc. So first work for 2 years then try to apply to pursue this course from there.
