Placements: Hi, I am currently a student of Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism at JB Institute of Hospitality Management. I have successfully completed my industrial training sessions at the renowned ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata, arranged by JBIHM. I feel privileged for this opportunity as it has opened the gateway for me to step into the professional hospitality world. My performance during training has led to an opening as an F&B associate at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata. I am happy and enjoying my job role very much. Most of our classmates secured placements from their industrial training and joined reputed hotels such as Taj, Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, etc.
Infrastructure: JBIHM is very teach-friendly and provides a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, air-conditioned classrooms, projectors for smart classes, industry-standard practical labs, and computer classes. All students, including myself, were fortunate to have such facilities, along with regular practical classes that prepared us to work in 5-star hotels both in India and abroad. Accommodation facilities for students like me who come from outside Kolkata are also arranged by our college. Male and female hostels are separate and located nearby our college campus.
Faculty: Throughout my course, I felt blessed to gain a tremendous amount of knowledge from our experienced teachers. Most of our teachers are highly qualified, with more than 10-20 years of experience. Smart classes, practical sessions, regular industrial visits, and industrial training sessions helped me understand how to manage real-life scenarios in a top-rated work setting. Semester exams are not too difficult to crack when classes are followed diligently.
Other: I have always tried to establish a good career for myself to support both myself and my family. Hence, I believe choosing JBIHM was the best decision I made to advance in my life and have a successful career. Both my classmates and teachers were supportive and cordial, making me feel included and encouraged. The celebrations we enjoyed at JBIHM included freshers, Saraswati Puja, Republic Day, Independence Day, World Tourism Day, Diwali, Christmas, and many more. Staying as a part of JBIHM has never been boring.

Placements: Our institute offers 100% job guarantee to every student. Our institute is collaborated with top hotels such as Radisson, JW Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Hotel Taj, etc. The highest salary offered ranges from Rs.15,000 per month - Rs.20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent in our college. All the facilities are available. Air-conditioners are also available in classrooms. Smart classrooms are also provided. Free Wi-Fi is available. Our college has well-equipped kitchens for conducting practical classes. JBIHM also provides hostel facilities to students who are from rural areas. Hostels are maintained properly, and the food quality is better.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable. Their learning process is good, which helps us to improve our professional skills. Their contribution to our professional and personal growth is excellent. This course offers industry-oriented and practical based knowledge. We have different fields in this college. Semester exams are held after every six months. We can score good marks if we study properly.
Other: I chose this course as I always wanted to be part of the hotel industry. Many events such as New Year celebrations, freshers' parties, birthday parties, Republic Day, Independence Day, etc., are conducted in our college.

Review of JB Institute of Hospitality Management.
Placements: There were only 40 seats, and the students got 100% placement support at 5-star brands. I am a student of JBIHM, and I got placement support and better carer opportunities from JBIHM. I got selected for my IT at Grand Mercure, Bangalore. I got a job as a food production associate at The Khyber Himalayan Resort and Spa. We get placement support for international brands as well. JBIHM provides international and national placement support to all.
Infrastructure: JBIHM has an amazing infrastructure, as they provide many facilities like AC classrooms, practical rooms with all the needed equipment etc. The campus is lush green, and they provide not only good study materials but also provide good knowledge. Wi-Fi is available. Computer lab, housekeeping lab, F&B practical room, front office lab, bakery practical room, etc., are available. The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, where students and staff maintain proper discipline and follow the rules and regulations. They supply good food and other facilities like Wi-Fi zone, laptop zone, medical facilities etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They use different teaching methods like PowerPoint presentations, live audio-video classes related to the subjects, and give us study materials to prepare for exams. They are industrialists, and they also share recent updates related to the industry. They make us ready to face any challenge by conducting grooming, personality development, interview technique, spoken English classes etc. JBIHM is one of the best platforms for those who want to make their career in the industry.
Other: I want to do professional studies, and I chose JBIHM. I feel very lucky to be a part of JBIHM. We study in many different ways and also celebrate festivals, play games, like Saraswati puja, Republic day, Holi, Independence day, Christmas etc. Cooking competitions are also organised for us. JBIHM provides scholarships to deserving candidates.

Placements: JBIHM provides excellent placement assistance to its students for both internships and placements. I have selected for industrial training for four points by Sheraton Jaipur, and it is one of the well-known brands in the hospitality industry. Our college explored my career in hospitality and tourism.
Placements: I am highly satisfied to be a JB Institute of Hospitality Management student as it has 100% placements assistance. Students got placed in renowned brands all over India. In certain cases, placements are also offered in abroad. I have selected for industrial training for four points by Sheraton Jaipur, and I would be trained in one of the leading 5-star brands in India.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our institution are equipped with all modern facilities and even audiovisual presentation. Practical labs have all equipped instruments and layout for effective practical classes. The course is practical oriented, so we need to emphasise on the same. Hostels are available for both boys and girls separately. We participate in many team building activities in the institution.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and motivating for every event we organise. We get one-on-one interaction in classes with faculty members, which helps us rectify our shortcomings. Even during the lockdown, we got maximum support from our institution in every way.

JBHM taught me to think beyond my imagination for a professional career.
Placements: The placements provided by our Institute, JBHM are to the star category within India. Every student has to go through thorough Industrial training in such star category property for at least 6 months. The Industrial Trainings takes place in and outside West Bengal. I am lucky enough to get the chance of working with Hyatt Regency, Kolkata for my Industrial training that is in my hometown. A student has to be regular in class, has to complete the IT part, then the JT part and after a student has completed the entire course of theory and practical along with the IT and Jt experience from the real industry then the student is eligible to get a salaried job in any of the 5 star properties. The lowest stipend is no less than 1000k. Some 5-star brand do give lodging along with fooding and some provides only the fooding part. This industrial training covers half the course curriculum where the student gets the opportunity to learn from the real Industry experienced people. The placements are done both on and off campus.
Infrastructure: The homely and comfortable environment of our college give the most satisfaction as a part of JBHM. Our college is situated at the prime location of North Kolkata, Dumdum. The spacious and the readily available instruments with modern methodology used in the labs are provided so that the students can thoroughly learn the subjects. The state of the art Kitchen with same as the star category helps students to learn about the hotel industry. The modern House keeping lab consist all the amenities which will help the students to gain knowledge about the Industry.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well structured to make the students and train them as professional Industrial person. The faculty members are selected on basis of their eligibility and experience of the sector. Each Faculty has relevant experience of teaching in Hotels or has been in teaching profession for a long time. The major subjects for hotel sector like Front Office management, F& B service, Communication, Bakery, House keeping, Finance and Food Production are trained with utmost care and attention to each and every student.
Other: The events of our college knit a strong bond between the students and the Faculty. The Hospitality Exhibition conducted by the College along with the students was a grand success. Apart from that the Diya making competition won by two male student of JBHM was another success. The events are the real platform for the students to give their best in performance and bring out their inner talent and reciprocate with each other in a more clear manner.
