There are some internal scholarships available to students on the basis of need and merit about which they can know when they join the college. Anything between a 2-5 number of students gets scholarships and it is sufficient because very few people need the scholarships as JBIMS has such an affordable fee structure. Smt. Jyoti Dwivedi Memorial Scholarship Awards is one of them in which every year two MS students will be granted Rs. 100,000 each as part of the Scholarship Awards. The scholarships will be provided to second-year students to meet their education fees based on their first-year scores as well as their family's financial situation.

The CAT cutoff for SIMSREE as per 2017 was 99.95 percentile which falls under All India category. Cutoff for JBIMS would be higher than this and for K. J Somaiya, Welingkar it would be only a bit lower (for MS). You can still try for K. J Somaiya and Welingkar for PGDM.

In order to qualify the phase one of the selection processes, the candidates must secure the minimum cutoff in either of the two exams mentioned above. The cutt off vary for domicile and category. For MH domicile it is 95 and above for MH-CET. Shortlisted candidate in phase 1 ( I. e entrance score) -

Phase 1
CAT/ CET score - 60
10th, 12th, graduation marks - 15
Extra- curricular/ work experience-20
Diversity - 5
Phase 2

JBIMS is offering the MMM/MHRDM/MIM/MFM courses. The admissions to Management programmes is based on MAH CET entrance exam score. Candidates with CAT/ CMAT entrance exam score can also apply provided they fulfill the minimum cutoff set by the college. So, MAT is not acceptable here.
