Satisfied & happy with this faculty, good placement record, Science 2012, good environment.
Placements: Almost every student is placed in a company, but a few students do not accept this and are going on to higher studies. Top companies are Siemens, L&T, Tata, Voltas, and Havells. The highest package is almost Rs. 30,000 per month (Mechanical), and the minimum is Rs. 19,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The laboratories are among the best compared to other government colleges, offering well-maintained equipment and a strong practical learning environment. Classrooms are clean, well-ventilated, and conducive to focused study. Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus; however, access is currently restricted to staff members. The canteen provides decent food at affordable prices, catering to the daily needs of students. Hostel facilities are available exclusively for girls, ensuring safety and a comfortable living environment. Overall, the campus maintains a clean and disciplined atmosphere, focused on academic development rather than extravagance.
Faculty: All staff members are supportive and approachable. The faculty is highly experienced, ensuring clear concept delivery and strong academic guidance. Teachers are dedicated, helpful with doubts, and often go beyond classroom teaching to support student growth. Their commitment creates a positive and effective learning environment.
Other: Electronics and telecommunication is a highly respected and in-demand stream. The lab instruments and components are well-maintained and effective for learning. If you're focused on growth and knowledge, this is the right place. While the campus does not focus on lavish events or frequent fests, it offers a clean and healthy environment conducive to academic success.

It is a good college with good placements.
Placements: Moderate placement record with a mix of both positive and negative experiences reported by students. Some students have reported successful placements in reputable companies like L&T, Capgemini, and John Deere, with average salaries of around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month. However, other reviews indicate that placements can be inconsistent, with some students facing difficulties in securing jobs and lower salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classrooms are good & big and clean. The library is pretty good. Generally positive infrastructure review, with features like well-equipped labs, classrooms, and a library. While the college offers a girls' hostel, some reviews suggest a need for a boys' hostel to accommodate students from outside the city. Overall, the college is considered to have good facilities and a healthy learning environment.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are helpful. They are known for their good teaching quality and for preparing students for industry through a well-structured curriculum. The college emphasizes interactive sessions, practical demonstrations, and industry-oriented projects.
Other: I opted for this course because electronics is good for the future.

Bad choice of my life.
Placements: In 2022, at least 40 to 50 percent of students got placed. The highest package was 4.5 lakh annually, and the lowest was 1.8 lakh annually. The top recruiting company was Deloitte. About 20 to 30 percent of students did internships in some solar project companies, mostly receiving offers for junior engineer positions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very good, that's for sure. Most buildings are old, except one. There is no free Wi-Fi, and the library is terrible. There is no hostel for boys, so I don't know about that, but there is a girls' hostel inside the campus that I have never visited. The labs were terrible as well; nothing was available there.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful and friendly, but some are not. This does not make students industry-ready. The semester was okay, not very hard, but the problem is with the projects they give us. They are just copy-paste projects, which was one of the biggest faults as to why students didn't get any placements.
Other: I chose this course just because I didn't have the knowledge; it was one of my bad decisions. The fest was good, but there were no other events.

Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic's Story.
Placements: 90% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 42,000 rupees per month, the average package is 20,000 rupees per month, and the lowest is 12,000 rupees per month. Wood PLC, L&T, and HL Mando are the companies that came to our college and hired students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are cool. There is only a girls' hostel, not a boys' hostel, on the college campus. The canteen is good, and the mess is beautiful. Sports tournaments are held there. The infrastructure of our college is great, beautiful, and the playground is not so big but is neat and clean, and students play there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help us to prepare for our future. They teach us how to build our future. Semester exams are not so easy, but not so difficult either. There are a total of six semesters in three years and twelve internals. By giving internal exams, students are ready for semester examinations.

About our JNAN Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic.
Placements: This institution ensures a placement rate of approximately 90% across all departments. Renowned companies such as Atlas Copco, Tata, L&T, and Bengal Beverages actively participate in the campus recruitment process. These companies primarily recruit junior engineers. The highest salary package offered by these companies amounts to 4 LPA, while the lowest package stands at 1.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Each department possesses its own laboratory dedicated to its students. These laboratories are meticulously maintained and kept clean. Furthermore, every department is equipped with spacious classrooms that are also maintained in a pristine condition. Additionally, this college boasts a vast library where books pertaining to all departments are readily available.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are extremely supportive and maintain a high level of discipline when it comes to our studies. The faculty members are truly exceptional. They possess impressive qualifications and ensure that exams are conducted punctually. The college administers two semester exams each year, totaling six exams over the course of three years of study.
Other: I selected this college due to its reputation as the top institution for pursuing a Diploma in electrical engineering. However, the surroundings of the college are unclean and in need of regular cleaning. Additionally, the college organizes an annual festival each year.
