Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic's Story.

Placements: 90% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 42,000 rupees per month, the average package is 20,000 rupees per month, and the lowest is 12,000 rupees per month. Wood PLC, L&T, and HL Mando are the companies that came to our college and hired students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are cool. There is only a girls' hostel, not a boys' hostel, on the college campus. The canteen is good, and the mess is beautiful. Sports tournaments are held there. The infrastructure of our college is great, beautiful, and the playground is not so big but is neat and clean, and students play there.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help us to prepare for our future. They teach us how to build our future. Semester exams are not so easy, but not so difficult either. There are a total of six semesters in three years and twelve internals. By giving internal exams, students are ready for semester examinations.

Our college is good in all aspects. It provides top-notch placements.

Placements: Placements are very good in our college. Several companies like Tata, L&T, Sigma, Atlas Copco, Wood PLC, etc., visit our college for placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has several classrooms and labs. There is no hostel for boys in our college. Our college provides a girls' hostel with good accommodation. There is a small playground beside our college where you can play football, volleyball, cricket, etc. The librarian is very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are great and helpful. Students and faculty members have a very good relationship. They are always active. All students must need around 70-75% attendance to attempt semester exams.

Other: It is among of top polytechnic colleges in Kolkata. Students are very good and well-being.

The college is awesome and I suggest everyone to take admission in this College.

Placements: 50% students are in the college are studying in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course. The highest package of the college is around 250000 and the lowest package is around 350000. 85% students are getting internships every year from top companies. Top companies are recruiting students from this College.

Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in the hostel. But there is no boys hostel only girls hostel available and I suggest everyone to take admission in this College and Take advantage of the hostel. All the services of hostel are excellent and students feel that they are at home not at hostel. I think we need a boy’s hostel in our college.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are very helpful. They are always ready to help the students and their nature is very kind and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The pass percentage of the semester exam is 90% and there are no difficulties in the exam.

Other: There is many events organised by our college. We every year celebrate fest, durgapuja. Scholarship also available and many more faculty members available.

I am absolutely satisfied with previous year placement.

Placements: Around 75% of students were placed in our course i.e., Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The highest salary package is 5 LPA, the lowest salary package is 2.5 LPA and the average salary package is 3.5 LPA. L&T, Cipla, Bajaj, Mahindra, etc. are the companies that offer placement. Around 80% of our students got an internship in Technologies and RKVY. The campus is very good and good teachers are available.

Infrastructure: There are 11 rooms for theory classes and almost 15 laboratories. For our course, there are 3 individual rooms and the workshops like Smithy shop, Moulding Shop, Carpentry Shop, Welding Shop, Machine Shop, Fittings Shop, etc. Other facilities like Wi-Fi and the library are very well decorated. The quality of the food available in our canteen and mess is very good.

Faculty: Teachers of our department are very helpful, qualified and highly knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The course has a very well curriculum which makes the students ready for industries. The semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 35% in each subject.

Other: I like machines very much since childhood so I chose this course. In this course, we work with various types of machines and metals. More good quality machines are needed. We organise many festivals on our campus like fresher's welcome, college fest, Saraswati puja, Viswakarma Puja, etc.

It is A grade college with good and experienced faculty and also provides good placements.

Placements: Minimum 40% of the students got placed in our college in mechanical branch in the previous year. Top recruiting companies in our college L&T and TCS. In JCGP, teachers will be friendly with students, and they used to make them ready for industries.

Placements: I had a great life in this college. We all know the present placements condition of India. So it is very hard for any college to make all students get placed. However, our college placement cell is trying its best to do so. Overall, I have got unforgettable memories here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not bad. All facilities are helpful, and classrooms, library and labs are upgraded. Sports tournaments like cricket and football are conducted here. Everyone puts efforts to make tournaments successful. The experience of the mess is awesome, and I had a great experience in my mess for 3 years. The canteen was also good. We all had good communication with canteen owners, and we all spent happily in the mess with more fun. They make us study more to get good marks in the semester. Our college premises are very good.

Faculty: Teachers here are awesome and helpful. They guided us with care, and they all were highly knowledgeable. They used to clear all things in an easy way so that all students could realise the matter easily. Foreman was also very friendly with us, and he helped us with every problem. All the teachers here were very good. We all used to put concentration on workshops so that we learned all things. They make us good to face any interview.

Other: I chose this course because it is all about machinery and technology. I have a keen interest in machines from my childhood. In this mechanical course, I can learn things very closely. We all had great enjoyment in our college fest named freshers. We had memorable memories at the farewell party.
