Traumatised, but a very fair review given.
Placements: Placements in college all depend on circumstances. My seniors got the opportunity to interview for a lot of companies, but for my batch, only one company came. Later, the professors do send job opportunities in WhatsApp groups, but they are jobs in Mysore and some in Bangalore.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is worth the amount of fees you pay. The administration office is frustratingly slow and poorly managed, requiring long waits even for basic tasks like registration, payments, or obtaining a certificate. But I guess most colleges in Karnataka are like that. I've heard the hostel food is horrible in the girls' hostel. The hostel is very (understandably) restrictive; the college makes sure the girls are very safe. I wouldn't recommend the hostel for older, mature and responsible women. The canteen has basic food that is very affordable.
Faculty: I would recommend this college to Kannada people. Non native Kannada people don't even set foot near this place. Around half of the teachers teaching for a course teach in Kannada. The student demographic of the college is mostly people coming from an underprivileged background who didn't have the resources to learn English or the environment to push them to learn English. I also won't elaborate here about the professor who subjected me to counselling rooted in backward, regressive ideas, which caused me significant trauma.
Other: My rating is based on my experience learning in this place for 2 years, and it has ended up giving me trauma and hatred towards the subject I picked.

It's up to you to choose the campus.
Placements: For the B.Sc. course, there are no placements. This is just a basic course that leads to many career paths, like M.Sc. and different government sector jobs. Students are mostly interested in government jobs. Some students are doing internships in government schools for teaching.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good at a graduation college. Classrooms are decent. Labs are spacious and have all facilities like water and gas connections. Wi-Fi is only in the classrooms. The library is good, and all types of books and study materials are available. There are two hostels, one boys' hostel and a girls' hostel, inside the campus. Food is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. They all have done their M.Sc. And Ph.D. They clear our doubts through discussions. They use simple language that is easy to understand. There are two semesters in a year and each semester has two sessions. The question paper is moderate.

Satisfied because of the faculty, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: 75% students were placed in the college. The average package offered in our course is around 1,10,000 to 1,50,000. For the KEA Government seat, the fee is around 1,10,000, and for the payment seat, it is around 1,50,000. In our batch, the total strength is seventy students.
Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure and a good environment. Behind the college, there is a girls' hostel. Good quality food is available in the hostel and also in our college canteen. The college has a separate gym room, sports room, and a wide playground.
Faculty: JSS College has the best faculty members. Faculty members are very friendly with students and share their knowledge with them. One semester duration is three to four months. They are planning for an industrial visit. The exams are conducted seriously.
Other: In JSS College, the Master of Computer Applications course started in the year 2022-2023. Our batch is the second batch in the MCA course. I got a government seat under KEA. It has to be an improved campus placement.

Very well-satisfied with my college, staff, teachers, placements, etc.
Placements: 70% of students got placed from our college. The package of placements is around 5 LPA-6 LPA, 8 LPA-9 LPA. The recruiting companies are Capgemini, Ediglobe, Kyndryll, etc., and in these companies, many students also get internships and training and about 60% of them utilize it well.
Infrastructure: My college has many facilities like good Wi-Fi support and well-organized labs. There are 10 labs CS in our college. There are more than 100 classrooms in our college and also a 90,000 books continuing library with well-maintained staffs. Classrooms are well-cleaned. Labs and library are available.
Faculty: About the lecturers, they are knowledgeable and they help you to uplift your skills and their teaching quality is very good. If we come to know regarding exams, it is easier and the passing percentage is 30%. We must attend all compulsory questions properly.
Other: I chose this field because I have an interest in computer science. Computer science nowadays is a very helpful course to join IT companies and work potential to earn a good salary.

B. Voc. in Software Development is a three-year Undergraduate (UG) program that aims at imparting practical and industry-relevant skills in the domain of computer science and software development.
It is one of the most job oriented course at the present.
The course is good to go with moderate fees
