B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

Absolutely good environment, dissatisfied because of the placements.
Placements: I am a final-year student. In our college that too in the CSE department the strength is 65 only 2 of them got placed. The two students placed are by the pool campus. If they provide some training and on campus then some other students may get placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel and department facilities are well and good. In the Hostel food and accommodation are well and good. Every day they will give a variety of food for morning, afternoon and night and evening they will be giving tea or coffee I anyone who needs milk they will be providing it. Wi-Fi connections are there in both the college and the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are well knowledgeable. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, quality of teaching is good. Sem exams are going well and good because of students' hard work. Hard work is also more important than teaching. Only the teacher's efforts are not enough students' hard work is also most important.
Other: The thing is students need some extracurricular activities and placements.

My college is very good.
Infrastructure: They have given the following facilities in our course- Well facilitated labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, and electronic devices in labs. Better chefs were in charge of the food. No problem with food. They provide unlimited food with limited mess bill. We play cricket also.
Faculty: The teachers were extremely helpful. They clear our doubts at any time during the College. ECE is the evergreen batch they can go either software or hardware side. It's not about difficulty; we worked hard during exam days, and 70% is the pass rate.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and decent placements, but hostels need improvement.
Placements: JVIT placements range between 70-76%, with packages from 3.1 LPA (avg) to 6.8-21 LPA (the highest), mainly in IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Most students also secure internships (75-90%) in firms such as Accenture, Amazon, Deloitte, and Infosys, with roles like software developer and project engineer.
Infrastructure: JVIT offers Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped labs, a digital library, an auditorium, sports facilities, hostels, a canteen, medical care, and a gym for students. The food quality is okay, hostels are decent but mixed in reviews, while sports and campus infrastructure are generally well-rated.
Faculty: JVIT has helpful and qualified teachers who support students in both academics and career guidance. The VTU syllabus followed here is practical and useful for jobs, making the course industry-relevant. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and usually about 70-80% of students pass successfully, which shows that with regular study and proper guidance, most students can clear the exams without much difficulty.
Other: I chose this course for good career options. Liked the faculty and placements, but wish for more practical, bigger fests, and better transport at JVIT.

There is a good infrastructure and facilities. It is a huge campus.
Placements: From a master of business administration of the 2021 batch, about 100% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered in our course was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. IBM, Toyota, Wipro, etc., visit here for placements. About 100% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: There is a very good infrastructure and facilities like computer lab, library, seminar hall, football ground with grass, kabaddi court, nice environment park and parking area. Safety and security are assured. In every classroom, CCTV cameras are installed, and they are always operated.
Faculty: All the teachers here were helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching was very good, and they provided extra preparation for exams. The curriculum makes students industry-ready, and jobs are guaranteed. Semester exams were very difficult, and the passing percentage was 80%.

They help to clear backlogs, and they manage time well for teaching. They are very good and friendly to the students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in civil and construction. The fest organised here is fantastic. Scholarships are offered from time to time.
