Beautiful campus, good infrastructure, dedicated placement cell and nice faculty .
Placements: Around 150 students got placed last year with the help of a dedicated placement cell. The highest package offered was 1.2 LPA, and the minimum was 2.5 LPA. The companies that came were UST, Cognizant, South Indian Bank, Mitsogo, Q Burst, etc. The internship is usually done by the students on their own, where the college provides the necessary documents for the purpose. The top role offered in my course was for Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good, which includes a huge ground, basketball courts, Wi-Fi facilities, different labs, Fablab, etc. The quality of facilities in the hostel is also really good, with the food menu including both veg and non-veg options. The hostel also has an inbuilt gym for the boys.
Faculty: The teachers in the college are really educated, qualified, and knowledgeable, and are good in their respective fields. The teaching quality is also top-notch. The course curriculum concentrates on both practical and theoretical education, which makes a student ready for real-world experiences. The semester exams are usually conducted by the university, but the teachers prepare you well enough to face any exams with ease.
Other: Since I had completed my Diploma in the same field, I decided to also take up a Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as my interest lies in this field. The college life is really amazing here. The college conducts an annual tech fest called Tharang, which is a must-attend event. The campus is covered in greenery, which makes it really beautiful. The extracurricular activities in college include most of the sports, NSS, and different types of clubs. The college also has a dance team.

It is a good college with excellent facilities and good teachers and environment.
Placements: Students who passed out from our college will surely get at least one job in a medium level company. Roles offered by companies to students can be assistant engineer, marketing intern, etc. Some other roles such as software engineer, etc., are also offered to students if they get selected in the interviews based on their skills.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are very good in our college. The food served is nice, and the canteen is also nice. Medical facilities are available if students or teachers or any staff member have any problem. Sports and games are conducted every year. Our college supports other curricular activities as well.
Faculty: Our course has a good syllabus. As the electrical field is one of the important fields in the world, students can get much experience that a good electrical engineer should have in their future as an electrical engineer.
Other: I am pursuing an electrical and electronics course, and I have chosen this course because I have very much interest in electronics. One major thing which I like about our course syllabus is it provides detailed information which an electrical engineer should know. Every year our college celebrates many fests and events like Tharang, Nrithya, etc. Our college gives equal importance to both studies and sports.

It is a good college with good facilities and well-qualified teaching staff.
Placements: Our college has a good pass percentage. The average salary package offer ranges from 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Amazon, Wilson, etc. Students from our course got internships more in software field than electrical. Most of the students got good roles in good companies with good salary packages.
Infrastructure: In our college, a central library is available for all the students. There are also department libraries. Labs are clean and neat and have a well-arranged infrastructure. The canteen serves good food items, and a clean environment is maintained. Medical facilities are available. Our college encourages sports and games. We also have a playground for outdoor games, and an indoor stadium for badminton, table tennis, etc., is also available.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified from IITs or NITs and good institutes. They are having good knowledge and are very helpful. Teachers always try to act like a friend, so they try to understand students worries. They try to contact the students' parents once a month to get feedback about their students studying at home.

Extremely satisfied with the college. It has amazing facilities and environment.
Placements: Most of the placement opportunities are offered by either BPOs and call centres or the IT field. Hence in this aspect, there was a limitation. Very few companies visited our campus dealing with our core competencies. Nonetheless, the college administration promoted us to follow our passion via startups if desired and gave adequate support for the same. We were also trained to be compatible with any company of our choice if we wanted to search for jobs on our own.
Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi and internet facilities, although they were not freely given to all unless they essentially require it. Classrooms were good and had good arrangements. The college has huge general and digital libraries with good collections. Sufficient medical facilities were available for basic illnesses, and it was easy to access the nearby hospital if needed. Quality of labs was good with frequently serviced equipment. Food was nutritious. Rooms had studying environment. Not many issues arose with the infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members were immensely helpful and supportive in all our endeavours and projects. They were highly qualified and have practical experience. The student to faculty ratio at about 5:1. Industry exposure was provided whenever needed. The course curriculum was extremely useful.
Other: The campus was huge. There was a lot of space to conduct extracurricular activities, within which training and competitions were provided adequately. An amazing inter college tech fest called Tharang was conducted.

Good infrastructure and qualified faculty members but average in Placements.
Placements: You expect placement in field of IT and computer Science. Infosy, Wipro, Sutherland are few companies that hire from here. All the branch students can participate but chance of striking the interview is more for CS and EC guys. I was been here from 2012-16 batch and almost 30 percent people were placed in different companies. They tried Tier very best to bring different companies local as well and good companies for the placement. We had a good placement sir who guided us well practiced us to speak and communicate well and made us to improve our resource skills.
Infrastructure: Good administration Block, good structure and also have ambient facilities like FAB lab and all other Labs are well maintained and proper instruments and good faculty members for guidance too. Good canteen facilities and college ground seemed good and plenty for sports and games. Good disciplinary practices were done.
Faculty: Qualified teachers with Ph.D. are available and have good skills to mould and guide us to our aim in engineering. NAAC and NBA Accredited College. B.Tech and M.Tech available for study and they are associated with APJ ABDUL KALAM UNIVERSITY. Even though KTU is very tough the faculty members guided us good enough and they put tier best in developing the technical knowledge of the students.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Infosys and a few companies related to the IT/Bank sector visited the campus and took students for finals. There were no internship requirements as per the University syllabus. However there were Industrial visit and training done for a period of 1-5 days which was done individually/groups.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure and special care is taken to maintain all the facilities. Washrooms are well maintained and the quality of food is also decent. Library is huge (has digital as well) with books in all genres. Sports facilities are also good.
Faculty: I was in the EEE department and I can say that they were one of the best faculty members. The support and guidance in terms of academics or extra curricular activities were immense. Practical and Theoretical methods were mixed and we had quite a good faculty student ratio too.
Other: National level festivals are conducted.

Great college and experience depend on the course you take.
Placements: Talking about my department, which is electrical and electronics engineering. I should say, that placements are pretty less in this particular branch, whereas CSE, ECE, and mechanical do have decent placement percentage atleast 50% on average. This is common in almost every college and due to EEE being the toughest. Otherwise, placements here are great comparatively. Choose your stream wisely based on that.
Infrastructure: College is built pretty clean with necessary infrastructure. It has huge grounds and essential labs. Campus is very wide. Jyothi Engineering College is known for its infrastructure with Tata IIIC Collab labs and Yaskava pick and place, soldering roots. They also provide a gym for hostelers and their rooms are pretty decent from what I have heard from my hosteler friends.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college are mostly Jyothi students, so they are more relatable to other Jyothi students. They try their best at teaching also. Every faculty member is highly qualified and full of knowledge and industry-level experience. The college is under KTU university (now autonomous from 2025). The university is pretty strict so we can score more in internals (college exams) and that will help you to easily offset the marks in university exams. Just refer old question papers and its good to go. An average student can pass easily with a little discipline in this university.

Our college has a good campus and infrastructure.
Placements: Most of the people who got placements from our college were from IT sector without discrimination of their stream. I opted EEE but most of our branch people got placed in IT field. Top recruiting companies are Information Park, etc. About 90% of students got placed on campus at Infotech and Technopark.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent with attached benches and desks. Some of them have projectors. All classrooms have blackboards. Wi-Fi is available and the speed is slow. If you are trying to download a picture of 1 MB then it takes about 1-1.5 hours. Library is available for department as well as for overall campus, the return date is about 15 days which can be extended in case you forget to return. or you are hospitalised for health issues. For every day, after the returning date, they charge fine of Rs. 10 per day until you return. Our college announces sports and events just a day before and you will not have time to form a team. The food in the canteen is now improved but the rates have also increased. So it's better to eat outside or bring food from home.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with degrees in their hands but few know how to teach the subjects. All teachers are highly knowledgeable in their subjects. A few of them know how to express their knowledge. We follow KTU 2019 scheme and its like demanding a food which takes 20 hours to cook be ready in 2 minutes. The course curriculum makes students complete a series of tasks well on time.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The duration of the course is small to understand the whole syllabus. Our college conducts an event named Tharang which is a technical event and is good. Our college has value for money.
