A wonderful glimpse of Jyothi Engineering College.
Placements: Almost 60 to 70 percent students are placed in our college. The average package is around 3 LPA. The companies that are recruiting are Sutherland, Titan, etc. The internships can be chosen by the students, and the faculty members will give information about the internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure. The college has a Wi-Fi facility and classroom equipment with a projector. It has both a women's hostel and canteen facilities; medical rest rooms are also there. The college has sports facilities, including a wonderful basketball court.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders. The university is KTU. The exams are tough. The syllabus is based on industrial knowledge. The mechanical engineering syllabus is a bit difficult in the second and third years.
Other: The college has many extracurricular activities and your college life will be a good one.

Choose the correct one, because this college provide everything.
Placements: Placement is good but not excellent in my view becouse I studied in mechanical engineering so, for mechanical engineering student placement is less compared to computer science and some mechanical students are placed in it field but for CS they have some more placement, but placement cell is not bad.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, good connection Wi-Fi with limits. Good labs and equipment, class room with project, good library. Hostel is also good and clean. Good food. By evening there are so many rules and regulations but overall infrastructure was absolutely good, good looking. They have federal bank branch inside the college.
Faculty: There have good faculty for all subjects and good exam cell difficult to pass exam, and there is good exam hall with wide range seat availability, with camera. Survival and more facilities provide there, course curriculum is also good.
Other: The college is good that's enough not much and not lows, there have good tech fest and activities and sports.

Our college is good with good infrastructure and strict rules.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placed in some reputed companies, especially TCS and Infosys. The starting salary offered is Rs.10,000 per month. Around 40% of students get internships. College chairman is the highest role offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well-equipped with modern machinery. The air-conditioning facility is available in the computer lab. The Wi-Fi connection is stable with a high-speed network. We have a good library section. Hostels and food are good. The games period is scheduled for first-year students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good with a good education in theory and have the ability to control classes with mass strength. The course curriculum is tough to grasp. Faculty members are available to ask doubts. Semester exams are moderately difficult but internal exams are easy.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for mechanical work. More internship facilities should be provided regardless of stipend. Tharang is our college fest.

A good college for studying.
Placements: Around 20% of students were placed from our department. The highest and the lowest salary packages are 3 LPA and 2 LPA. Software companies like Infosys, TCS, and Cognizant are the main recruiters in our department. About 50% of students got an apprenticeship in companies like Apollo tires, KAMCO etc.
Infrastructure: There are very good facilities in our college for the students. Internet availability, computer systems, air-conditioned rooms, and Labs for each department are the facilities in our college. There are two separate hostels for girls and boys. The canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are good.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful for the education and they are also qualified and have good knowledge in our field. This course is curriculum relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams at the university are very difficult. The pass percentage is average.
Other: I selected this course because l didn't get other degree admissions. Then l selected B.Tech.

The college is not student-friendly. There are better CGPA results in college.
Placements: There are not many placements oppurtunities available. Companies like Wipro, UST Global, Infosys, and other small companies in the IT field is regularly visiting. It is not much good for other branches like mechanical and electrical. It's often students from the mechanical branch selected in an IT company. The college also has a start-up cell and TBI (Technology Business Incubator), encourage students to start-ups.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is good. It's a green-covered campus. There are separate labs for each department. All classrooms are provided with a projector and CCTV, but some projectors are not working, and students have complained about it, but still no change. At summer, there is a heating issue in the mechanical department. It's heavy, and we can't stay in the classrooms. Students have complained about it many time, but still no change. Other facilities, like a departmental library and Wi-Fi in classrooms, etc., are available on the campus. Overall, it is a partially solar-powered campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are PG holders, and some of them got a PhD degree in several fields. But some staff are not student-friendly, they don't give valid notes for exams. However, some are good. The current principal does not seem to be student supportive. The college follows KTU syllabus, which is launched in 2015, and it is followed in all colleges of Kerala, but the syllabus is very tough.
Other: At earlier years, the event was held named as Tharanga in our college, but after the principal changed, it's not properly held. The proper budget is not getting, which does not make the college student-friendly. Recently they started a fab lab in the college, through which we can print a 3D model of the project, and also they are heading some workshop at this facility. The college is accredited by NBA.

A superb college with lack of placements for the core branches.
Placements: The placement cell of Jyothi Engineering College was too good so that in my study year, there was a company from Oman, which recruited mechanical, electrical, and civil students, apart from the Infosys, TCS, Sutherland, Wipro, etc., are there for the campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: The college is situated on the Jyothi hills, which is surrounded by the rubber plants. It has the western and the eastern block, where each block consists of a department. The administration block consists of a huge library and the computer labs. A large football ground is available with minimum seating capacity.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified with PG and above from different fields. The way they share their knowledge depends on the behaviour of the students. They take revenge against the students, who are making issues is common here. The teachers will only stand with management in any circumstances.

In 2015, the faculty, the placements, and the infrastructure were good.
Placements: The placement was excellent in our college. Most of the students got their placement from the different companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc. Many senior students of our college are employed. Our college is the best for the placement. Our college provides the placement training. About, 80% of the students were placed last year. The highest salary offered by them is Rs. 40,000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 15,000 per month and the average is Rs. 30,000 per month. The various companies visited in our colleges are Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc., to hire the students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a vast infrastructure. There is free Wi-Fi in our college. The labs have the various equipment, which is new with a lot of facilities. Our classrooms are accommodated with the projector, and about 60 students can be accommodated in our class. The library consists of many books of the different authors. The quality of labs and the classrooms are good. The lab is well-equipped with the modern devices. The classrooms have a projector and a vast space for the accommodation for the students. The quality of food available in our college is good. The food in the canteen is excellent. The hostel rooms are good. About two students can be accommodated in one room. I do not face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.
Faculty: The faculty members in my college are helpful, well-qualified in their subjects, and polite. They have high knowledge about their subject. The faculty members have the different methods of teaching. Some teach through PPT, and a few teach orally.
