Kamala Nehru College review 2026.

Placements: Placements of this college are borderline average. The average package is 4–5 LPA. Good companies rarely show up. Companies like Zupée and Zomato, and a few top ones, visit the college. The percentage of students placed is low, while roles like Analyst, Marketer, and Social Media Intern are offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is better than some of the North Campus colleges. We have a new block. There is centralized AC, and the classrooms are amazing. Though the campus size is small, the quality is good, and renovations are still going on in different areas of the college. The food quality in the canteen is decent to good. We have Amul and Nescafé apart from the college canteen. The food is very nice. The computer labs and library are in good condition. However, we have some network issues here.

Faculty: Faculty is nice. Some of the best teachers are there, especially for my course. They are supportive and qualified. Though I feel the curriculum is relevant to some extent, it does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 75–80%.

B.Com (Hons) honest review for KNC.

Placements: As far as I have heard, the placements are average. It totally depends on the person's capacity and skills. B.Com job sector requires skills and experience, if you have them, you can secure a job. The college tries its best. There are several internship fairs, and the placement cell is also very active.

Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, it is okay, not good, not bad. However a new building has been constructed for the students with nice seats, increasing the capacity. Several sports grounds are developed for smooth utilisation. The canteen is good, lab equipment is also up to date, and the food truck of Amul and Nescafe are also nice.

Faculty: Our professors are experienced, although some are very strict. Overall they are nice. They teach the concepts and make us practice and give assignments too. B.Com is a tough subject to pass, if you don't study properly, you can get back, so stay aware and study hard.

Highly dissatisfied due to average packages offered, bad faculty, and old infrastructure.

Placements: My college offers average placement packages ranging from 5–6 LPA. Only students with high CGPA and skill sets get placed. It affects about 20–30% of students. The top recruiting companies can be from the Big 4 firms, including Deloitte and KPMG. Various roles are offered, such as management trainee, marketing executive, and so on.

Infrastructure: My college does not have any hostel. So students have to live in PGs or rented flats nearby, which is quite costly. Infrastructure of the college is quite old. It was built years ago, but a new building has recently been constructed. Washrooms are never clean. The mess food is too unhealthy to eat. Classrooms in the new building have air conditioning, while in the rest of the classrooms, students have to manage with fans. The college has Wi-Fi, which is a plus point. The library is quite nice, with OPAC and various books available for every category.

Faculty: Faculty of my college is quite okay when it comes to teaching, except for a few. The Accounting and Economics faculty members are exceptional, and their way of teaching is quite awesome. The rest of the faculty members do not teach much and cannot even complete the syllabus on time. However, students pass exams through self-study, which is the main point.

Other: The fests in this college are quite interesting and nice. Since I attend three fests, I can say that the KNC fest is a two-day event. Many society programs and competitions are held, along with a main event like an artist night. Since the college does not have a very large area and there are many students, it feels very crowded during the fest. Many students do not even get entry to the auditorium to watch the competitions.

Good faculty, improved infrastructure. Overall, a good college.

Placements: Around 20–30% of students get placed every year from our course. The average package remains between 4–5 LPA. The top recruiters this year are Udaiti Foundation, Zupee, Zomato, Astrotalk, etc. The roles offered to students of our course are HR Intern, Marketing Intern, Business Development Intern, etc.

Infrastructure: The old building has average infrastructure, but now a new building has been constructed that has centralized AC and clean washrooms. Our college is working towards improving infrastructure facilities. The quality of food in the canteen is average. There are good sports facilities as they keep organizing race competitions and also teach yoga, aerobics, etc. The medical facilities are decent.

Faculty: The commerce faculty is good. Teachers are qualified, as most of them have completed Ph.D. and teach very well. The curriculum is not very relevant as it is not revised. NEP 2020 has been introduced, but I do not find it very useful. The semester exams are easy. Most students easily pass them as most questions come from previous years' papers.

Other: My cousin has done CA along with graduation, so I was also willing to do the same. I chose B.Com because the subjects taught in CA are also taught in B.Com. The syllabus needs to be revised so that more practical subjects can be included to make students industry-ready. College societies keep organizing events like annual fests, speaker sessions, competitions, etc. The campus surroundings are safe. Students also get scholarships if they satisfy all the required conditions.

Good college with good commerce faculty.

Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placed. Usually, the average package is 4-5 LPA. The placement cell of our college organises a placement fair every year and invites companies like Zupee, Zomato, Deloitte, PwC, and Lenskart for placements. They offer roles such as Marketing Intern and Business Operations Executive.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The Wi-Fi does not work properly. The library is big and has three floors. We do not have a hostel in our college, so students from outside live in flats or PGs. The quality of the canteen food is below average. Medical facilities are decent, and we have sports like cricket and aerobics.

Faculty: Teachers are exceptional as they are very helpful and good at their work. They teach us very well. The curriculum is not very good and needs to be revised. Although university introduced NEP 2020, it is not very useful. It is easy to pass the exams as most of the questions get repeated every year.

Other: I want to do CMA along with graduation, so I chose the B.Com program. I believe university should add more practical learning and projects to make students industry-ready. Our college society keeps organizing events every month. The campus surroundings are good and safe for girls.

Placements: Around 40-50 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 10 LPA-11 LPA and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Infrastructure: Earlier, there was a shortage of classrooms, but recently a new building has been constructed, so now the college is working towards improving infrastructure. A hostel is not available, so students from outside live in flats or PG. The canteen is average. Sports and game facilities are good. Many children participate in inter-college competitions and win prizes.

Faculty: There are some teachers who don't teach properly, while some teachers teach very well. The curriculum is not good because it is not updated continuously and doesn't make students industry-ready. It is easy to pass the semester as most of the questions get repeated every year. Most of the students clear their exams if they study well.

Other: I was interested in commerce, so I chose B.Com. I like the subjects that are taught, like cost accounting, financial management, etc. I want them to add more practical subjects. They organise good events but should organise more events.
