Satisfied with faculty and the college campus. I recommend getting admission to KNC.
Placements: Students do not get direct placements after their undergraduate studies in B.A. Geography (Hons). Most of them opt for higher studies and specialized courses to gain experience and expertise. They apply for internships in research, GIS-related fields, etc. Then they get into jobs at companies like ESRI, RMSI, EY, etc., for positions like GIS Analyst, GIS and RS Engineer, Professorship, etc. The average packages range between 5 and 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college offers decent infrastructure with well-equipped facilities like light tables for topographical map reading, stereoscopes, etc. The entire college has free Wi-Fi, with working fans in the library and AC in labs. There are no hostels, but PG facilities are available nearby the college. The college has a good canteen with a decent range of food and drinks at affordable prices. There are a lot of sports activities, and training is provided to students for competitions.
Faculty: Professors provide insightful information and teach with presentations and lucid notes to teach students effectively, along with fun activities and assignments. The course curriculum is relevant. Students do have to opt for further courses to become industry-ready. College exams are manageable with regular studies, following the resources provided by teachers, and having an understanding of PYQs.
Other: I chose this course because of my inclination towards geography as a discipline and the diverse opportunities it offers. The best thing about my course is that we get to learn and create maps and understand various geographical information and phenomena. The college has various events, ranging from departmental and society events to college-level fests, conferences, etc. Alumni meets help people get networking opportunities, and college societies help students indulge in extracurricular activities.

Kamala Nehru College review 2026.
Placements: Placements of this college are borderline average. The average package is 4–5 LPA. Good companies rarely show up. Companies like Zupée and Zomato, and a few top ones, visit the college. The percentage of students placed is low, while roles like Analyst, Marketer, and Social Media Intern are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is better than some of the North Campus colleges. We have a new block. There is centralized AC, and the classrooms are amazing. Though the campus size is small, the quality is good, and renovations are still going on in different areas of the college. The food quality in the canteen is decent to good. We have Amul and Nescafé apart from the college canteen. The food is very nice. The computer labs and library are in good condition. However, we have some network issues here.
Faculty: Faculty is nice. Some of the best teachers are there, especially for my course. They are supportive and qualified. Though I feel the curriculum is relevant to some extent, it does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate. The passing percentage is 75–80%.

I'm satisfied with college. It has a peaceful environment. Placements are average.
Placements: Around 40 percent of students get placed in Economics Honours at my college. But many others opt for higher studies and prepare for civil exams. The highest package offered is 24 LPA in the year 2025, and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. The average package offered is 5 LPA. Companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Zomato, and Infosys recruit students. Around 80 percent of students get internships from Economics Honours. The top recruiting companies that I know of are Lenskart, Nation with Namo, Google, and Wipro. Roles like marketing associates, business development executives, content writers, and analysts are offered here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great. It has a small campus. Wi-Fi works sometimes, but sometimes it's really weak. The library has 2 floors, but sometimes we're only allowed to use one, so it's not great because there's nowhere to sit. Classrooms are really small to fit all students of the class, and the seating capacity is less than the number of students. There are usually no seats for 6-7 students. There is no hostel in KNC DU. The food in the canteen is good. Medical and sports facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. We generally don't understand what the teacher teaches, and it's usually too fast. The course curriculum is relevant, but at times a little too hard to understand. Semester exams are a little hard for subjects like MME and Statistics, but overall, the other subject exams are easy to learn. The pass percentage is 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I am really interested in Economics and mathematics. The best thing about my course is that it's a match of my best and favourite subjects. I wish teachers' understanding of their students were better. I wish the teacher would make it easier for students to understand subjects and provide us with more study materials. The campus is small, but the crowd is good. There are great students in college. There are no fights in our college like other DU colleges, and it's really peaceful.

College review (KNC) - Maths hons.
Placements: Placements in my course at KNC are almost 80 percent. The placement cell of our college is active and helps us improve skills required by the companies. The average package is 2 LPA-3 LPA, and students get higher packages too. The internship fair and college placements are very helpful to secure a job.
Infrastructure: The computer labs and other lab infrastructure are very good. The construction of the new block has further boosted the infrastructure. For sports students, several new sports arenas have been constructed. So overall, our college infrastructure has improved from past years.
Faculty: I like my course, and KNC has good faculty for Mathematics. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive. They help us with concepts, doubts, and assignments. To pass the paper, you have to study very well, as the paper is not tough but lengthy, so you have to practice solving problems.

Geography Department of KNC is one of the best in DU.
Placements: The placement opportunities for B.A. Geography (Hons.) are good. Students are quite average. Also, it varies from student to student on the basis of academic background and the particular theme they have opted for in geography, as students with knowledge of GIS & remote sensing have an edge over others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course and college is pretty decent with well-equipped classrooms and available DU Wi-Fi. We also have access to computer labs. Kamala Nehru College does not provide hostel facilities for students, but the college campus is good with various sports facilities available.
Faculty: B.A. Hons geography course follows the semester system. The faculty of the geography department is very old and experienced. This course is very relevant as geography offers various interesting themes such as oceanography, climatology, GIS, and remote sensing.

Highly dissatisfied due to average packages offered, bad faculty, and old infrastructure.
Placements: My college offers average placement packages ranging from 5–6 LPA. Only students with high CGPA and skill sets get placed. It affects about 20–30% of students. The top recruiting companies can be from the Big 4 firms, including Deloitte and KPMG. Various roles are offered, such as management trainee, marketing executive, and so on.
Infrastructure: My college does not have any hostel. So students have to live in PGs or rented flats nearby, which is quite costly. Infrastructure of the college is quite old. It was built years ago, but a new building has recently been constructed. Washrooms are never clean. The mess food is too unhealthy to eat. Classrooms in the new building have air conditioning, while in the rest of the classrooms, students have to manage with fans. The college has Wi-Fi, which is a plus point. The library is quite nice, with OPAC and various books available for every category.
Faculty: Faculty of my college is quite okay when it comes to teaching, except for a few. The Accounting and Economics faculty members are exceptional, and their way of teaching is quite awesome. The rest of the faculty members do not teach much and cannot even complete the syllabus on time. However, students pass exams through self-study, which is the main point.
Other: The fests in this college are quite interesting and nice. Since I attend three fests, I can say that the KNC fest is a two-day event. Many society programs and competitions are held, along with a main event like an artist night. Since the college does not have a very large area and there are many students, it feels very crowded during the fest. Many students do not even get entry to the auditorium to watch the competitions.
